    You are a GENIUS for helping me figure out the convoluted way to make the Flash become the slave to the transmitter! Would have NEVER figured it out without this being SHOWN. Thanks so much!

    I've been trying to connect my V350s to a X2Ts for a few hours. Went through both manuals multiple times, and watched a few other videos.
    Issue was that the ID was set on the transmitter but not the V350s and I forgot the setting was (not so) hidden in the custom menu.

    Hey, great video and just received this flash for my canon. I use the xpro trigger on that also.
    I second shoot for my mate at weddings. How can I make sure that his flash doesnt set mine off? Even when in different channels or groups, his flash fires mine. As though my flash is stuck in optical slave kind of thing. It's driving us nuts as were both unsure how to stop it from happening!

    ATG/Godox has just approved two major buyers in USA.
    These two major buyers are getting in bulk volume discounts. They should arrive in July.
    Say goodbye to Canon, Sony, Pocket Wizard and outdated Nikon, Olympus & Fuji flashes.
    Lavikka Photography, well done.
    All pros no longer have to hold the cameras to compete with beginners and amateurs.
    They are jumping on the ATG's bandwagons doing videos & reviews to make easy money.
    I hope they paid you a minimum of $500.00 USD per video reviews.

    • @LavikkaPhotography

      In master mode if you set the master flash to not fire it does tiny preflash. You can put it on TTL or manual in master mode so yes it is possible.

    • @MrRomanMiller
      @MrRomanMiller 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      How exactly do You mean that, X1t-s with V350s right? But not V350s mounted directly on the camera? But if Sony is sending the signal (ok with X1t-s) why is the V350s not functioning? :(

    • @LavikkaPhotography
      @LavikkaPhotography  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know why Sony doesn't allow the af assist to work with flashes. For some reason they want you to use the af assist on body. I imagine it has something to do with PDAF. Godox apparently found a hack to make it work on their transmitters but so far it only works on the Xt1-s.

      @@andrealfred5217 it seems they both have the same power and the only really big difference is good V version has a very good battery that will get twice as many shots as you will get with a double A as well as a faster recycle time. If you don't need the recycle speed though I'm not sure if it's worth paying twice the price for the V version.

    Thanks for the review! Is this the best Flash for the Godox or would you recommend the Godox VING V860IIS TTL Li-Ion Flash? What is the difference and could you use as a Master to the other Godox products? I was going to order the V860 for my Sony A7RIII would either work for events? Thanks,

    • @LavikkaPhotography
      @LavikkaPhotography  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Function wise they are same. Both can work as masters. V350s is easier to use and power wise it's about half power. I personally prefer the v350s because of it's size and it comes with a nice diffuser. Both will work for events.

    Why they keep making that plastic hotshoe?,they already know its problematic yet they still do it..🙄

    • @LavikkaPhotography
      @LavikkaPhotography  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's how Sony designed the the Multi interface hot shoe. Every flash from every manufacturer will have to be plastic because of the fine pins in the front of the hot shoe..

    • @aadsideas
      @aadsideas 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think the culprit is the size and weight of the flash against a very delicate Sony hotshoe which in time will damage the pins or break the base.
      I would prefer to use the flash off camera with the controller on the hot shoe.
