I had to adjust the neck for the same reason. Works great now😃

That's great! Doesn’t take much to turn almost unplayable at certain points on the neck into a great guitar.

I found a music shop that makes and sells a while truss rod cover (3 ply) with gold “Epiphone” on it. Looked pretty good.
