Sounds out of tune or intonation issues?
Yeah. Lesson #1. Tune your guitar before doing a video.
I did a follow up highlighting some issues and it now needs to be re-intonated.
@@Guitarallday247 nice tone though. I just ordered one 🙈
@@edatkinson322 you won’t regret it.
@@Guitarallday247 I almost bought a ESP LTD Phoenix instead but it was 9#, my Firebird is 7lbs 4oz
What? no banjo tuners? that aint a firebird.
That’s definitely a negative. Straight through strings with the banjo tuners makes a difference in my opinion.
in my firebird, if I pull off or trill the E, the keys fry all over the keyboard, do you have the same problem?
I’m not sure I understand what you’re meaning here.
I'm italian!, i try to explain better. Do you try to hammer on and pull off the 1th string E ( mi cantino in italian) all over the neck ? On my firebird the 1th string bazz when I do this.
@@darioreboli7105 I've got an Epiphone Explorer. It has the same problem. The slot for the 1st string E is too close to the edge of the fretboard.
The string slips off the edge more easily in positions 1, 2, 3 and 4. In the higher positions it becomes less of a problem.
I was going to change the nut but I'm used to it now.
When doing the trill, don't pull the finger down to the side. Use a more up and down motion and there's no problem.
@@TexasBlues-123 I think the fret is cut at 45 degrees and not well rounded. during pull off on 1st E, the string goes under the fret and bazz. on my RG, strato, tele, ar420 (LP-like) the fret reaches the edge of the neck and is rounded and the 1st E is not bazz, during pull off
@@darioreboli7105 Yeah. 45 degrees cut is the problem.
