Full out and full out Complete Family entertainer
Hey John! Glad U liked the movie. Which was your fav part?
@@Tanucinebites Whole Flick
To be honest, I didn't get the comedy of this movie, and I slept through the whole second half. As you said, the climax is a disaster. I think even the director doesn’t know what to do there with this many characters
Hi Rafi, yes.. I kept thinking if this movie was in the hands of Priyadharshan we would have got a hilarious climax like the movie Vettam (2004)
@@TanucinebitesObviously, but the sad fact is that the movie 'Vettam' was a commercial flop 😞
Oh yes.. it was! But nobody can deny the fact the climax scene was one of the most funniest chaos comedies pulled in Malayalam Cinema!
Its a fact that 90% of the Indian movies are male oriented and revolves around their life, struggles and problems. Hence its very difficult to bring out female characters that have an impact to a movie's narrative.
You said that female characters lack depth in this movie; just look at the majority of bollywood, tamil & Telugu mass movies. Heroines there are just eye candy, objects of desire & lust. If you remove them from the movies, it will hardly affect the story.
At least in Malayalam industry, they are given some respect.
Also Malayalam industry has been putting out the most number of female centric movies and maximum number of strong female characters in their films since decades!!
So i feel really strange when reviewers point out about the lack of depth of the females characters in Malayalam cinema!!
Hi siddharth, thanks for your comment. I cannot speak about other movie industries and role of female characters but talking about this particular movie, the role of Vimla Nikhil was not well written considering she is the main reason for conflict between Vinu and Anand and that she was not given an oppurtunity to speak her mind until the very end. As female audience, my friends and I felt there was definately a lack of connection with the character of Anjali and especially Parvathy.
Good job ❤
Thanks Jackal.. what did u think of the movie?
@Tanucinebites I enjoyed the movie alot, however , did feel bad for the wife... felt she got short changed... the movie is from the men's perspective so it is funny... but if we think from the wife's perspective.... both men have used her as an excuse for their short comings ... felt she deserved a bigger apology
females aren't required much in the movie...In Jaya jaya jaya too actress wasn't entertaining but basil entertained..It is a harsh but raw fact...look at the movies like avesham,manjummel,aadujeevitham,2018 all of them were tremendous success and one of the reasons was lack of female leads..
Sorry that's a very sexist comment to make. Premalu was also a successful movie and had a main lead as a female character.
These movies are a success because of the good story line which were not female oriented stories, but there are many movies that had female leads that were integral to the storyline. Look at Premalu, Super Sharanya, Thanirmathan Dinagal, Hrydayam, Neru, Kaathal..these are hits too
