- Recently I've had the opportunity to play the amazing Felgemacher organ at St. Patricks Church in Erie, PA. This organ was recently restored by the Heritage Pipe Organ company, who also added an amazing Trombone as well as a Tuba to the organ. This instrument features some of the most beautiful flutes I've every heard as well!

Organists from Europe visits the U.S. and are fascinated by our instruments where as organist from the U.S. go to Europe and we are fascinated by your instruments!
Yup, it’s fantastic 😂👌🏼
I said last year on Organ Media's video that this was organ of the year 2021. The Teller's 16' trombone is a terrefic reed!
The OrganMedia Foundation made a video about this organ about a year ago. It’s nice to hear you demonstrate this organ and hope you have fun performing on this organ. It’s great that you’re getting a chance to play these wonderful American Symphonic/Romantic organs.
What a great sound, and wonderful technique and clean, crisp keyboard “attack” by virtuoso Mr. Paul Fey.
Thank you so much!! 😀
I love the way you and Balint Karosi demonstrate instruments. Slowly but surely up to the plein jeu on each division and then the whole instrument. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!! 😀
Lovely organ. Sounds much better than 90% of pipe organs built these days! Beautiful church.
Love it! I played a 1900 Felgemaker tracker for several years. They are wonderful instruments. very well made!
Nice demonstration of this 1906 American organ, well maintained. Thank you, Paul
A very thorough demonstration of a beautiful instrument. Thank you, Paul.
Thank you very much, Roderic! 😀
Great church with a great sounding organ played by a great organ player! That‘s it! 👍🏻💪🏻👏🏻
Danke für die Vorstellung dieser schönen Orgel aus dieser wunderbaren Kirche
Herrliche Kirche und herrliche Orgel 👏👏👏 Bravo
I'm so glad that you can provide your excellent demonstrations on some of our instruments in the U.S.A. --
Oooh, me too! Thank you so much for watching 😀
Hi Paul, I wish you would come to the US more often. We need beauty, the country is in such bad shape.
It's a fantastic organ Paul and It's so great to hear you play on it! You're the best my friend!😁👏👏👏👏
I grew up near Erie, but didn't know there was such a fine organ there. And such nice, wood, swell shoes! A beautiful demo, as usual. 😁
Thank you so much for watching! It must be one of my favorite organs on the trip so far 😀
Thank you for showing the footwork as well, very instructive. Usually, the other vids of organists only focus on the hands. Thanks for these wonderful videos.
Das ist eine unbeschreiblich schöne Orgel. Dickes Lob für diese Demo 👌👍👏
Thanks, Paul! What a beautiful demonstration of a fine instrument. I'm so happy that you seem to be enjoying your tour here in the U.S.
Thanks for sharing another great instrument. 😊
Thank you for watching! 😀
That rich, woody, smokey Viola on the Great division really sounds nice! Everything on this instrument seems to blend really well, the full tutti is not shy and really speaks into the room with authority and elegance! 😊
Bin begeistert von dieser sehr schöne Kirche und Orgel und tollen Vorstellung. Danke Paul
Vielen lieben Dank 😀
Wonderful demonstration and performance Paul!😁👏👏👏❤️
I'm so looking forward to this Paul!😁👍
The reeds with tremulant almost sounded like the old Hammond B3 i learned to play on!
Many thanks for your beautiful playing. Neither many of organists could feel the organ as you do.
Simply wonderful! Thank you Paul.
Thank you so much for watching, Tom! 😀
Superb organ and acoustics.
Thank you so much for watching! 😀
Hallo, lieber Paul. Diese Orgel gefällt mir sehr gut. Sie klingt rein und sehr authentisch. Einfach genial.

😀
Thank you so much Paul. You provide so much info/education on the organ ….. whichever one it is. Amazing instrument.
Thank you so much!! 😀
Thank you! What a pleasure!
Thank you so much for watching! 😀
WOW! WOW! What a magnificent demonstration of this fantastic organ at St Patrick's in Erie. The unbelievable variety of beautiful sounds for concerts and for leading congregational singing. Are you on a USA tour? You have matured and advanced so much since your early 20"s (22) on your 2 manual Gloria. Thanks for interspersing video of the gorgeous interior of the church and the pipe facade. You are becoming more relaxed and confident in speaking in English, which is very good. Thank you for demonstrating the sounds of this organ before your concert.
Thank you so much!! Yes, we‘re currently travelling the US for some concerts and video recordings 😀😀 So true, I even tend to notice it myself - its just a matter of using English so often I think 😀
@@PaulFey Are you coming to the Dallas/Forth Worth area? Website with your tour schedule of cities? I would do my best to attend and meet you personally!
@@John-hr5bj Speaking as a fellow Texan (San Marcos), this is probably the worst time of the year to come to Texas
@@thebog11 Paul doesn't have to come summer time to Texas. I would welcome Paul to Texas anytime he can arrange a concert stop on any year!
Thank you for another fine demonstration.
Geweldig orgel en speler Hans uit Zwolle Nederland is dankbaar goede lhuiskomst
Thank you so much, Hans! Bedankt 😀
If you can. You need to play an unaltered Kimball. Best organ builder ever.
Yes!! Kimball was magnificent, and the strings went all the way down to my understanding! None of that 49 note limitation stuff! I wish Kimball still was doing it’s thing
Prachtvolle Orgel und sehr schöne Arbeit 👏👍🏻
Paul -- It looks and sounds like you had a lot of fun making this video.
Thank you very much! I certainly enjoyed the time with this organ! 😀
beautiful.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!! 😀
Gefällt mir ausgezeichnet Paul Fey 👍👍👍

Meine Freude ist riesig. Vielen Dank 🙏👍👌
Vielen Dank 😀
beautiful would love that in my house to
Saaame 😀
Wonderful demostration. Hopefully you visit DC and play the many large organs there! 64ft stops are common on large DC organs. ;)
Thank you so much, Storee! Haha yup, already played one with a 64‘ 😀
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So glad you are in the USA and enjoying so many organs. Do you have a published agenda of concerts?
You come to the end of your first US tour. You have had some fun with US organs. I wonder how you like them in comparison to the typical German organs. Less shrill, or cutting I think, Maybe more variety. I pleasure to meet you in Methuen, You have done well with your tour and we hope to see your return, SOON!!! Very nice of you to demonstrate each organ you played. Wonderful instruments and beautiful churches. Best wishes in future, Paul. Safe trip home. Your German fans are reaching out to you for sure. I think they want you back.
Oooh, thank you so much!! It’s just a completely different world - I think I‘d prefer the American instruments for symphonic and modern music, but a Silbermann or German baroque organ is just unbeatable when it comes to baroque and older music 😀
Beautiful musiç❤
Thank you! 😀
Wow, super Video 👌👌👍👍
At St James church built in the 1700s has a big pipe organ l know the man who plays. It looks like hard to play. He plays 😍 beautifully. It is so loud that's for sure! My grandmother was the organist at her church ⛪️ lt was just a regular organ but still lovely 😊
Sehr schöne Präsentation Paul. Liebe Grüße aus Dortmund-Oestrich. Gerd
Vielen lieben Dank! 😀
thank you so much for this terrific video :👍
Beautiful🎉
You should visit pittsburgh and play sain pauls cathedral organ.
Grandios!
Fine instrument in USA! I hope you travel to Oregon and Washington to play the Rosales, opus 11 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, Oregon and the 1965 Flentrop at St Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, Washington.
I know the assistant organist at St. Mark's Cathedral. He loves the organ but says that the acoustics are the best part.
I heard from the organist or the organ builder that the first open is only to be used as a solo stop, nonetheless great vid!
Really? It would explain why it is so dominant 😀
@@PaulFey Yes! The plenum is scaled to the second diapason.
Will you be in the states performing for a while? Any trips to Columbus, Ohio? Would love to come hear you play.
Wow! How many pipe organs have you played in US?
Thank you so much for watching! Haha, my girlfriend kept count and she is at organ no. 10 now I think 😀
Swooning.
is it mechanical or electric ?
Hi
