In today's video, I'm restoration an old stool. I was wondering if it was worth restoring such a damaged piece of furniture with zero value, but I decided to go for it. The stool was in terrible condition; the seat was beyond repair, the wood had numerous damages and cracks, but I decided to keep the old seat and try to improve its condition at least a little. The stool was nailed together, and I had to use quite a brutal method to remove the nails. This is my first restored piece of furniture. Enjoy watching!

This seemed to be impossible to keep all parts original. But you passed it perfect. Great restoration work. I like that combination of white legs and naturaly olded wood top. Beautiful 👏🏻👍🏻

Excellent restoration. Thank you for saving it. My late father was a builder and woodworker. In addition to his large projects, over the years he made many small pieces like this stool for us children and others. I was brought to tears as you worked, thinking of him and hoping that someone would do the same for any “now worthless” items that he made.

When you started disassembling the stool I thought there was no way you could use all the parts. Amazing result!

Fantastic job! I had no idea how you were going to save some of that wood but it all came out very nice.
When I saw this stool I also had no idea how to save the seat, a brutal sanding with a brass brush improved its appearance a bit. I'm glad you liked the stool I restored. Thanks for your comment. 👍

La madera estaba demasiado dañada, había muchos agujeros, abolladuras y cavidades. Tuve que retocarlo con masilla, así que dejarlo sin pintar habría quedado feo. De todos modos, el taburete se hizo con un marco pintado, yo sólo lo restauré a su aspecto anterior. Gracias por tu comentario👍 y me alegro de que te haya gustado. 😀
