Wow, the Lazarus chair!!! You raised it from the dead!!! It looks fantastic!!!!! That style is the original farmhouse dining room chair. Everyone wanted those when I was young. In Indiana that chair style was huge 😁
Those were the chairs of my childhood. Contoured, comfortable and beautiful. Mid century will never be as good. Very worthy of your masterful restoration.
Thank you for restoring this handsome chair so well. The stain you chose was perfect and brought out the wood grain and decoration so nicely. It was very satisfying to watch, Thank you 😊
Absolutely stunning Samuel, even in its bare wood state when you put it back together it already looked a million times better than what you started with but that stain finished it off beautifully. Loved the sandblasting of the chair back and seeing the intricate carving stand out.
it's always so satisfying to bring an old piece back to life when everyone else thought it was not possible!! thanks for glue this oak beauty and cleaning her up again. looks amazing in the darker stain. i just took an old bench apart today to do the same with the top of it. paint is so old the wire brush took it right off lol
You are so welcome! Thank you for the compliment and support. I love to hear about others projects. I’m glad I’m not the only one who like to save furniture
Wow i didn’t think it was possible for that chair to look this good it was beyond repair in my eyes and how you mixed that wood glue with saw dust such an awesome idea great video you definitely get a thumbs up looking forward to the next video..
This looks like the kind of chairs manufactured by S. Bent & CO in Gardner MA...they were one of several furniture manufacturers in Gardner at the time....until a bunch of then left for the South in the mid 70's
Gardner MA is also known as Chair City.......in front of one of the schools, there is a "statue" of a HUGE chair of the kind made in Gardner. Also in the area was a chair manufacturer that made Ethan Allen chairs as well as the Heywood-Wakefield CO. It was quite a place to live.@@CedarPineDesigns
Love. I did one with arms and made it into a computer chair. I stained and painted the carved woodwork and added a square of cherry under the seat to make it nice and solid. It made a wonderful gift!
Oh and another tip: to prevent marks from the type of clamps that has a metal plate at the end, use a block of wood between the clamp and the furniture piece :)
Well done, I’ve started 2 like yours and discovered all the pieces wernt there. Next time I count and arrange the pieces to be sure I can finish said project
Amo esses vídeos de restauração, é terapia para mim...sem falar que é maravilhoso transformar algo velho e quebrado q ninguém quer mais em algo renovado, é surpreendente kkk As vezes o que não serve mais para alguém,serve para outros❤🪑
A beautiful work! The precision you had with each piece is impressive. Congratulations. I send you a "hello" directly from Minas Gerais - Brazil - It's a perfect job
It was all there and still solid, just needed someone to recognize that and love it back to life. Glad you did, great save!
Yes! Thank you!

Couldn't agree more! It is so comfortable the way it contours to your body
Thank you for restoring this handsome chair so well.
The stain you chose was perfect and brought out the wood grain and decoration so nicely.
It was very satisfying to watch,
Thank you 😊
Thank you very much! I’m glad you like it
I was so empress. It was a mess . Then you found it and gave it life. Beautiful. I enjoyed watching .
Thank you so much!

Thank you very much! I used the sand blast method to save the details. I was torn between raw finish or stain
I love this type of content where a broken, unloved piece is restored and made usable once again. Great job! Can't wait to see what else you find.
Thank you very much! I can’t wait either

Ржавые саморезы вкручивать, самому не обидно, после столько проделанной работы.
I agree. Just an oversight
Your trash is so rich! Here, in Brazil, our trash doesn"t have this precious. Very good work.
Thank you very much!
I wish my Sons had a Hobby and Skills like This! ❤
Thank you. In time
You just added a century to that chair's lifespan. I hope the next restorer does as good a job as you.
Thank you so much
This looks like the kind of chairs manufactured by S. Bent & CO in Gardner MA...they were one of several furniture manufacturers in Gardner at the time....until a bunch of then left for the South in the mid 70's
That’s actually who made these. There is a stamp on the bottom of the chair
