  • This video shows how I attach the front and back, inside and outside covers to the spine flaps. It also shows two options to cover the exposed spine. The first 30ish minutes show that process. After that I share updates on planned videos, my Etsy shop, what I’ll list and when I’ll list the items. My Etsy shop is:

    Thank you for watching and happy creating.

    I was more of a card maker and scrapbooker in the past and am now eyeballing junk journaling. I've not made one yet, but I'm mentally prepping myself and your videos have helped. :) If I were to be really truthful, though, I love the concept behind all kinds of paper crafting, am addicted to the hoarding of tools/gadgets and whatnot related to the craft, but am just too lazy to do it. But I love watching others show their talent and creativity and the way you put the spine and covers on today look professional to me.

    • @CoriDahmen
      @CoriDahmen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you and jump right in! Junk journaling combines so many other paper (and sewing) hobbies that, for me, it’s the best of the paper crafting options 😊

      @doodahgurlie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CoriDahmen Well, I used to sew on my scrapbook pages about 20 years ago, so I'm pretty familiar. It's just that I've been in a crafty rut for a long, long time. I still love it. But like I said, I think I'm more a hoarder of the craft than a do-er. But I do love everything about it since to me, it's very similar to scrapbooking.

    Where did you find that crocheted lace?

      I get 95% of my old lace from yard sales and antique stores. I often take pieces off tablecloths and pillow cases and clothing. I wish I had a consistent source I could share with you!

    Do you sell these blank journals? I would love to purchase one to decorate.

      Hello and thank you! I haven't done that, but I suppose I could. I'll ponder the best way to go about that and get back to you :)
