- Today’s items are match books and paper clips. There are a few different ideas fir both and I quickly show how to create the side-clip, drop-down style of paper clip. Also, at the end of the video I have a message for the folks who recently bought the mini journals. If your name is Maryann, don’t peek if you want to be surprised. 😂oh that's the sort of thing that happens to me! I'll be searching for something and it'll be stuck to my back 😂. I have so many lonely paper clips waiting to be decorated! Love these ideas, thank you 😁. My paper clips are jumbo ones and I can just about manage to curl the sturdy wire around.Oh, I'm always inspired by the person I'm making it for, one reason I find it hard to make something generic.💖
I love the idea of using fabric instead of paper on the foldover part of the clip. Oh, and congratulations on 7000+ subscribers, you are amazing!

Like the double tag paper clip. How do you make the curls on the paper clips. ‘‘Tis first showing the curls.
I show how to do that in another one of the videos, at the end. Shoot. I don't know which episode that is in. BUT, Tracie Fox from LoveJunkJournals shared it years ago. If you search curled paper clip in her channel, I'm certain you'll find it.
Well Cori, you can disregard my recent comment about where to find hanging paper clips. I figured, after looking endlessly for them on sale, I would have to make my own. Now, I learn that is actually what we do. Thanks for showing me how to curl them. You’re the best, Cori.

What kind of paper do you use for your journals? I love your work so much!!!!!! Im a teacher too and guess what I will be doing this summer between pd classes😍
Thank you and just amen! There is a lot of PD this summer, which is good, but I also want a chance to recharge... and paper crafting does that for me. Most of this project has been done using the Tim Holtz paper pad, but I also use heavier coffee dyed copy paper and coffee dyed tracing paper very frequently. I hope the remainder of your school year goes quickly and smoothly.

Love all of the paper clips but my favorite is the mini cluster on the clip with the curls. I purchased some sewing charms that came with one of those curled paper clips. Thanks to you, I now know how to make my own!
The time difference between the US and Norway means that I get to see your videos early in the morning - so I grab a cup of coffee and sit down and enjoy the "task of the day". I'm so not the person to answer this! I don't (generally) mass-make anything. I'm very much a make-as-I-go person. If you intend to sell your journals, maybe make 5 or 6 of each? If not, maybe two or three, just so you have some on hand to remind you how you made them. For the idea book we'll make later this month, you'll only need one of each and.... some scrap paper :)

Ahhh, that's it! I said I would show how to make that, then I forgot what I said I would show! I'm writing it down now and I'll show it in tomorrows video.
PS, I have a video going way back that shows the tissue and book page covered paper clips. I have another, more recent video that shows how to make the side pocket paper clips. If you search "paper clip" in my channel I believe they come up.
