    pads. Both are among my favorite items to make and include in journals and the work with any size or style. At the end of the video I answer some viewer questions and share a few samples. Thank you for watching and happy creating.

    What can you use instead of lace for the clusters so you don’t have to spend money on buying lace because it’s not cheap even at the thrift store? I Love your videos and we all have glue which is a lot easier than sewing . You could be at the sewing machine for days if you mass make clusters and scrap pads. Again Love your videos!!!😘

    • @CoriDahmen

      I get most of my lace from the Goodwill Outlet, so it's pennies. I often salvage it from pillow cases, clothing and other household items that are edged in lace. Yard sales are another great source for salvaged lace at low prices.

    Watercoloring really brings the flowers to life! Your simple technique makes such a difference. I’ve had problems cutting intricate flowers with my Vagabond. What weight paper/card stock do you use? Thank you for all your tips and tricks!

    • @CoriDahmen
      @CoriDahmen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re welcome Betty and I use whatever cardstock I have on hand. With intricate dies I always add a shim (usually just a strip of very heavy cardstock) and I pass it through the machine twice.

    Hi Cori, rewatching the series for the third time, I absolutely love it, thank you for sharing, can I ask what die cutting machine you use or recommend? Many thanks 😊

    • @CoriDahmen
      @CoriDahmen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello and thank you! There are several really good die cut machines. Spellbinders and Tim Holtz and Sizzix all make great machines. It really depends on your needs and how you craft. If strength or pain is an issue, one of the electric machines might be a great way to go. I've had the big shot since it first came out, and since it still works for me, that's what I use. I do love my Sidekick and find that I use that most often, simply because it fits so well in my main desk area. But, I use a lot of the smaller dies. Honestly, look at the reviews before you decide on a system and consider your needs, and I don't think you can go wrong.
