On the first combo I think the better play is to use Holutea and Dionea as material to make Pingu then detach Holutea to activate Pingu's effect. This way you can use Holutea's effect in GY on opponent's turn to summon your Pudica from GY for another interruption.
This deck is sooooo good. I have been playing purrely at my locals but recently moved back to traptrix cause everyone was siding against me. The deck really feels so strong.
so euh, this might blow your mind, and the same for many traptrix players. But your first 2 combo's you really have no need to lock yourself into insects or plants to get the same result. Use your field spell, banishing Sera, to special summon a monster back from the grave. Then overlay first. This way you can choose what you make. Any rank 4 in the game of your choosing. At the end special that Arachnocampo, and make a Sera from that. That way, you have more variety in what you make, you're better protected, because you can make rafflesia earlier in a lot of cases (because you don't lock yourself, you don't have to end with the rafflesia.) and you get Arachno in grave incase you need to reborn it with Holeutea to avoid destruction effects for your traps.
I always like to have at least 1 Myermeleo in the GY as it is a non-once per turn spell/trap pop when special’d, so you can summon one off of Sera and you can special one from the GY via Holeutea’s GY effect.
Can i say a big fan of your deck profiles ever since using your ideas and adding a lil combo stuff on top of the styles you have made been winning more games keep up the good work
Correction: Dionaea when special summoned can set a hole normal trap from the graveyard but banished during YOUR next end phase. Not "The next End Phase"😢
You were never playing around Nibriu. It does lead to a weaker board sometimes by going for Raflesia on 5th summon, so may not always want to do it. However, in situations like 15:20 there’s no reason not to go into Raflesia on the 5th summon because you will literally have the same endboard.
As a traptrix player I always summon rafflesia as the fifth summon incase of nibiru, and then play into whatever other xyz I need, usually time thief on holeutea.
I like to make long with the trap so it can be sent to grave before the opponents turn. It just makes it easier to use as an interruption on their turn with myrmeleo or pudica.
I looked through my master duel cards and figured I wanted to build traptrix. Looking at the playstyle from encountering other players, it looked interesting. Thanks for the video!

In case you still don't know, paralel exceed's effect is that it special summons itself from the hand if you link summon a monster and after being special summoned it summons a copy from the deck. It's also in the deck because rafflesia and a few of the other extra deckers don't care about if the material is insect or not
8:24 I'm not sure about the time thief redoer, the trap holutea is not considered as a trap but a normal monster, surely this is how it works in the field and in the graveyard,so I'm not sure if it's considered as a trap or a monster in a xyz monster's material Help?

This game has become so dumb no card game should allow 5 minute turns and having 20 plays happen. It was so much better back in the day. This is why magic will always be better cuz they have multiple formats and they didn’t make it retarded when they ran out of ideas. Don’t try to fix what ain’t broken

Misplayed that dionea at the end. It doesn't add to hand. But it is a lot to keep up with.

I'm not understanding why you get to bring out the first copy of Parallel Exceed? It's not a TrapTrix card so why is it freely summoned? 14:40
In case you still don't know, paralel exceed's effect is that it special summons itself from the hand if you link summon a monster and after being special summoned it summons a copy from the deck.
It's also in the deck because rafflesia and a few of the other extra deckers don't care about if the material is insect or not

If you pitch a trap card from your hand you can activate Holeutea immediately the turn it is set.

Problem I have using these decks are the missed timing on trap cards… “when” effects are annoying
Very rarely is a problem for me
Your opponent will try to chain block the f out of you but it is what is as long as you understand how chains work you should be in a pretty good spot
