I used to play back in the day and no longer play - but I still buy 1 of each of these structure decks just because of how nice they are to look at sealed.
Im pretty new to Yu-Gi-Oh, but I opened a Traptrix Vesiculo in a tin and out loud I went “Ooo.” So it’s pretty cool seeing a whole deck with that same art style.
My favourite traptrix monster is Sera. I managed to pull three of her from the battles of legend Packs. She was the first traptrick monster I didn't have to struggle to get, to the point where my friend apologised for trading his copy away and I'm like "Don't worry bro, I've got 3" .... that being said, I've been collecting traptrix for years, but have never had enough for a full deck yet, so this structure is a godsend.
Konami is knocking it out of the park with these latest structures. Accessibility has always been a critical component in any card game and seeing so many accessible staples lately has been awesome!
exactly I don't mind archetype cards being expensive due to demand but staples should be more accessible to everyone.
My favorite traptrix monster in all honesty is nepenthes, being able to special from the deck just allows for combos

Raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster in a Structure deck would have been insane ten years ago.
Much like Mirror Force, when it finally happened, it was when it had stopped being relevant.
The ratios are a bit weird but since you're building with just the structure deck cards I understand. I'd suggest: (15 monsters) 3 Myrmeleo, 3 Mantis, 3 Arachnocampa, 2 Pudica, 1 Dionaea, 3 Ash, (5 spells) 1 Traptrip Garden, 1 Feather Duster, 3 Raigeki, (20 traps) 3 Holeutea, 2 Gravedigger, 2 Terrifying TH Nightmare, 2 Floodgate, 1 Traptrix TH Nightmare, 2 Trap Trick, 3 Evenly Matched, 3 Shade Brigadine, 2 Bottomless, (extra deck) 3 Sera, 1 Cularia, 1 Ateypus, 2 Pinguicula, 1 Allomerus, 1 Rafflesia,
Cheap cards that are a huge upgrade to the deck are: 3 Torrential Tribute, 3 Parallel Exceed
This structure deck is kind of awesome because you have the entire core and it's super easy to upgrade with tech as you get it (swapping Raigekis for Prosperity/Extrav, swap Evenly for Imperm) You'll want to eventually slim down the trap hole lineup. A nice tech that a lot of people should have easy access to is 3 Torrential Tribute; all the ED Traptrix are immune to trap cards so it can act like a Raigeki on the opponent's turn and be an extender with Sera. The draw spell is a bit of a noob trap, it's not good in standard builds; you also only want 1 Garden because it needs 2 Traptrix in hand to act as a starter and is searchable.
You mentioned Mantis searching Arachnocampa to make a rank 4 but your main starting play is: Mantis searching Arach > link into Sera > activate Arach in hand > activate Sera, set Holeutea > activate Holeutea (ideally by discarding a TH card) > activate Sera, summon Dionaea > activate Dionaea, set discarded TH > xyz summon Rafflesia or Pinguicula using Holeutea and Dionaea. You can also make the same play in a different order using Myrmeleo to search Holeutea or any Traptrix along with Shade Brigadine. Opening with the right monsters and/or multiple extenders can result in some very difficult to break boards with great coverage and protection.
Sera hands down, she does so much work. Hopefully this archetype gains some traction with the new support

The new supports are nuts. I've been playing exclusively Traptrix since February 2022, and I assure you that with these new cards it's all waaaaaaay better.

I cant remember the name of it, but there is a traptricks monster that can gain the effect of a hole trap card by detaching an overlay unit. Never played the deck myself, but every time I saw that XYZ monster I would silently die.
my favorite traptrix monster is probably rafflesia because of how it is really big support. I have a traptrix deck in master duel and its really fun when i can go first which is rare. i would love to win so i could have the deck irl
Favorite is Traptrix Rafflesia. I got her a long time ago in a mega tin and loved the art and vibrant colors.

Great video! My favorite is traptrix is Allomerus. I love structure decks, and I wish there was a structure deck only format, with these types of upgraded decks used.
idk if it would work but it could be kinda cool to see if you could import structure decks into MD and obtain the cards in the game.

I've never played traptrix but I'm really looking forward to picking it up once released. I hope Konami keeps releasing structure decks like these last few ones
So excited to see these cards early! I've been holding on to a couple of higher rarity Traptrix to upgrade the deck's look once it releases and I'm looking forward to the release! My favorite is definately Allomerus, It's very fun to have a card that uses the monsters you destroy, and it looks fantastic in Ultra Rare!

I tried building this for the longest time. Sera is definitely my favorite! The card was pretty expensive when I tried building HAT so I'm glad to see it as part of the structure deck
this deck is crazy the nest one is just going to be kashtira with 3 pot of prosperity. They seem to just be getting better. Also, Myrmellio looks cool

I'm just getting into Yugioh deeply for the first time and I was really interested in trap decks. I found out Traptrix was getting a structure deck so I was super excited to try it out. Love all the cutie death dealers here, but I think my favorite is Myrmeleo because her effect is really simple, but quite powerful imo.
I'm hyped for the archetype and the awesome staples in this deck. My favorite Traptrix monster is Traptrix Mantis, because she is basically a two card combo.
Traptrix Mantis is definitely my fav traptrix great art and two strong effects for the strategy. Also I loved playing Traptrix when they first released so I'm very hyped for this especially since this is being released the month of my birthday.
Favorite Traptrix card is Trap Trick. Search any normal trap to get one up on your opponent. Honorable mention: Bottomless Trap Hole.
Chain it to Lightning Storm to get Waking the Dragon.
I like the my big spider kaiju, but of the traptrix arachnocampa is neat with the blue yellow glowy look.
Been in love with the archtype since my friend had me try it in Master Duel, and this structure deck seems like a really nice way to get an IRL build of it.
My favorite of the maindeck monsters is definitely Myrmeleo, one of the cases of I wish I could run more than just the 3 copies in a deck. Extra deck wise my favorite is Cularia, i've had her come up clutch in buying me enough time in games by constantly bringing Rafflesia back from the graveyard and allow me to swing some games back into my favor
I think Traptrix Myrmeleo is my favorite card, I've been wanting to get a deck for like couple months but I have not gotten one because it will gather dust on my room, I ain't got no one to play with
Well, it's more of a tie between two.
First is Myrmeleo. Great name to pronounce, great art, great effects, although I never played HAT format, great legacy, and honestly, I think she's the action girl of the archetype. No need for allure and charm when you can just go grapple and snap.
But my actual favorite Traptrix is Nepenthes. I like the color schemes, and I like the nice detail of the butterfly nearing her hand.

Rafflesia is my fave just cause of the art work. I really like the thematic idea of XYS monsters featuring multiple cards in it's art since you are laying multiple cards on top of each other.
Nice especially with the Evenly Matched reprint. For me Traptrix Atypus is probably my fave for the DRNM-like effect
My favorite is definitively dionaea. I feel like it's artwork really sells the concept of the archetype. The pile of bones and her expectant position really drives home the feel of an ambush predator
I'm really excited for this structure deck to come out! I remember building a traptrix deck online a couple years ago, and I recently got back into the archetype. My favorite traptrix monster is easily Sera! She has really nice art, and she generates you crazy advantage! I also pulled a copy of her in the singular box of magnificent mavens that I bought. From that moment, I saw that as a sign and knew I should build traptrix irl lol
This structure deck contains some really good staples, also didn't expect ash blossom in there, since she was in crystal beast deck. And of course the best traptrix is arachnocampa, one of the most important card of this archtype. Such a beautiful card, both effect and art wise.

Has to be Rafflesia! I got her in a pack a long time ago and was just mesmerized by the art and the colors ..if only they credited the artists 😅

My favorite is probably Traptrix Atrax. The art work is just so iconic.
Agreed and she has some great use thanks to the new hole trap card being an extender rather than interruption. As with Atrax you can use the traptrix holeutea without paying for its costs. The combo lines are crazy now with all the new support

I don't have a favorite trap trick monster card, but I really like the idea of the trap trick trap card, it can be used in many decks including the one I'm wanting to build, Labrynth

Also, Paul, I wanted to say you are super knowledgeable and I love watching you and the others play or simply talk about cards like this. I learned a lot and I'm super excited to pick this deck up! Hopefully I can use some of these cards in Labrynth as well :)
A really fun deck to look forward too, the raigeki, harpie’s feather duster and ash blossom and joyous spring are the best reprint choices for this structure deck for my opinion!

I want to start playing casual yugioh TCG but I'm so torn between the traptrix structure deck and the albaz one, because I really like playing both decks. So happy traptrix are getting more support and extenders. It's so hard picking a favorite at this point, but I would say Rafflesia and Dionaea.
Super thinking of grabbing three of these to get back in to paper. It was always a deck that looked super fun when I played with friends in high school. Fave is Myrmelleo just because of how strong setting a trap hole was back then when we didn’t know what we were doing!

I love structure deck videos. If it was not for the structure decks and yugiTubers I would have had no chance of learning how to play and build a deck myself.
I have been eyeing getting into Yugioh again after not having played since about 06 and these looks awesome and abit clsoer to stuff I tend to remember (trap holes)! Very cool looking deck and art work. Traptrix Myrmeleo looks pretty rad.
I’m a huge fan of the art on vesiculo. The whole image really makes her fit the part of a wild plant. I’ve been playing traptrix in master duel even since I learned about the structure coming out because I wanted to play it!
Same, you really need to try them out with the Black Garden field spell... trust me.
I went 20 turns against an Odd Eyes deck that shat out strong monsters, but I was able to consistently screw them over.

I lost all my traptrix cards from highschool and was working on it since they came out till up to about 2 years ago, so this at least can get me back into the swing of things and playing one of my favorite decks
Hello..I'm an old school player and this deck looks amazing. I would love to get this to catch up to learn more on how to play on how everyone plays nowadays. I love that Harry's feather duster is in this deck, I have never gotten that card, I also love that the fabled Ash blossom is also in this deck. So many fun cards that could help me get back into the game. Lately I have just been playing Master duel, legacy of the duelist on switch, and I play the old school GBA games Eternal Duelist Soul, stairway to the destined duel, and GX academy. I have been recently getting the pre-constructed decks.
Happy to see Traptrix get even more support, my favorite has to be Rafflesia, who provokes so much anxiety for opponents who know I'd have access to many more traps hidden within the deck.
Traptrix Dionaea is my favorite because it shares it's name with a really cool predaplant monster another deck that I really enjoyed when it first came out.
I have never played with this archetype, but I'm excited to try it with the release of this structure deck. I do not have a favorite one yet, but Pinguicula looks pretty good!

I really like traptrix as an archetype visually, and this structure deck really makes me want to pick it up and play a traptrix deck for once in my life. If I had to pick a favorite I really like allomerus since I just love her card art, though the new xyz definitely looks amazing as well. Can’t wait to see if I can play both a pure build and maybe try mixing it with my labyrinth deck

My favorite has to be Cularia, beautiful artwork and its effect is really great, getting back some of the traptrix from GY and keeping traps set on the field is very welcome
I'm so excited for this new structure deck! I've never played with this archetype but they seem really interesting to play, after looking at the cards my favorite has to be Genlisea since it lets you set trap holes from your deck and grave so you can easily get a trap hole and gravediggers to trap hole your oppenent and if it has a destruction effect Gravedigger for 2k burn, so cool
I cannot WAIT for this Structure Deck to come out…. I love Traptrix so much… my fav Traptrix def has to be Myrmeleo. She just looks so cool.

It’s a real good one, gives you everything you need - staples like Raigeki, Ash Blossom & Evenly Matched which work in ANY deck plus Traptrix which is a solid archetype itself.

Returning player who hasn't really been in the game since the mid 2000s. I had a BEWD deck ( I know basic). This seems like a good devk to use to get back in it.... quick q. How does XYZ works?
Looking very forward to the support, my favorite Traptrix has always been Rafflesia, she be giving all the other Traptrix monsters so much protection, while also responding to threats with various holes from deck.
I would say my favorite is Myrmeleo. It's super versatile as it not only fetches any of your Hole Traps when Normal Summoned, but can destroy 1 spell/trap you opponent controls on Special Summon - neither of which is restricted to once per turn in any way, so you can reuse its effects numerously in the same turn, if you have the system set up for it (using Allomerus, Dionaea, and/or Cularia), to rend your opponent's field of backrow cards.
Can we revisit this deck and fortify it with additions?
Traptrix arac seems to be my favorite so far still ss themselves effects seem to help the game play even more. Thanks for the template of the traptrix deck.

I’ve been wanting a traptrix deck since I was a kid, and now that I’ve just got back into Yugioh from a 4 year break it’s very convenient I’m now getting a traptrix structure deck XD. My favourite is Mantis, because it was my first traptrix I ever saw and I love the art design.

I think arachnocampa protecting your back row is the most valuable new addition to the strategy and reprinting raffesia was really nice too

This structure deck is SO GOOOD. Also favourite traptrick is rafflesia because making that with gravedigger's traphole in nibiru format was hilarious
I’m so happy about this structure deck,, ever since I got into Yu-Gi-Oh I’ve wanted the traptrix but they’re so hard to get when you live across the world from America.. But this structure deck has made my dream come true. My favourite is definitely Traptrix Dionaea as she can revive the other traptrix which is so underrated for a casual player like me
My favorite's definitely gotta be Rafflesia as she let me discover the joy of Floodgate Trap Hole-ing Numeron.
Been looking forward to this release ever since it was announced in the OCG and can't wait to try out the new cards.
We play ocg in SEA so I was pretty lucky to get them pretty early. The new names did make it more consistent, but rafflesia being pushed as your last combo piece makes it more prone to being Nibiru'd. Still a more fun deck to play now though.
Pinguicula isn't just useful for holes too. It seems to work for all effects that send to gy, even your opponent's (foolish etc), and offsets Pudica's removal by adding the monster as a material, preventing it from returning via Pudica eff.
