Cov City season ticket holder here. I was there with my lad on Saturday and I have to say, it is probably one of the best games I have ever seen. The thing with Cov is you never know which team is going to turn up. We can be great or not. Luckily, we were on our game from the off.
I'm not stupid, I know your injuries gave us an advantage, but I have to say, I don't think that was the end of the story. As good as we were, I was really surprised at how poor Wolves were. This was no smash and grab, we really deserved the win. I'm not sure how GON can reconcile being 2-1 in the 97th minute against a Championship team and not end up winning. Especially considering how many defenders you had on the pitch. Is he usually an astute tactician?
The game didn't start well for Wolves what with Sa having to fake his injury as Robins had outwitted GON with his setup. Talking of Sa, what a performance, he was great all game.
My first Cov game was in 1972 so have seen us at Molineux many times and been mostly disappointed. It was nice to win. A day out at Wembley will be great, but I think parity will be restored against Man United!
Good luck for the rest of the season, I'm old, so I don't have any animosity towards fellow WM clubs. OK, apart from Villa. #PUSB

This was an honest assessment of the game if you had all your strikers it could have been different but we played well deserved our win good luck for rest of season

Cheers lads. Yeah Coventry looked well rested. Worked hard gave us a good game. They deserved the win. Looked miles fitter than our thin injured squad. They looked well drilled upfront.

Guys only one thing has let us down this year not the manager but Jeff shi and owners did they back oneil f no owners have no ambition if we get a win and maybe a draw that's for your hard work

    Great podcast guys.
I thought Jack's comment about the amount of chances the players had to clear the ball for the equaliser was very interesting. For me there is a real defensive issue given the amount of goals conceded in games this season and not least in added time.

Totally concur with Harry about ONeils reaction to the ball boy incident. I would go further and suggest it showed a lack of class on O'Neil's part.

As a Coventry fan and don't watch Prem football much your injuries were a pivotal factor in our win. Maybe the line-up lacked belief with missing your 'X' factor players. Defensively towards the end they looked ragged and have our forwards too much space. I
As for your young man up front he is still learning His trade and was thrown in the deep end.
All the best for the rest of the season lads.
