Benjamin Turner I would have put a bigger motor in it if it where a bigger truck. Cause it's only a half ton. I went with the Cummins because of durability, parts availability, and ease of adding horsepower. To turn up a DT you have to change some springs in the injection pump, which cost a lot. A Cummins you can turn a couple of screws and get an extra 75-100 horse.
That engine sounds sweet. I drove right by Summit Racing last Thursday, lol.

I hear ya. For sure. Why you don't see many DT's in pickups. There is one lurking around youtube land that's pretty cool! Super Duty with a DT360.
