That must be an early F2 ,with 6cyl and a manual auger ! My F never lacked power it was easy to shove 170bu corn right out the back especially on a hillside!
I have a video request. Could you do a video about crop inputs and their costs what seed you used and yield. Your video about using rural king seed beans has really spiked my interest. I’ve never been around old gleaner combines they seem pretty neat. I like the grain truck then old chevys are what I learned on
If it was about to rain, could have been getting a dew on the stalks causing the plugging. I've seen that before with stuff where just before it rains, it's already wet somehow. I think your truck needs some carburetor work. Shouldn't choke and cough that much pulling out of the field. Might be worth putting a carb kit in. Did you get the radio figured out yet? Sorry, I still haven't finished the video about FrankenTruck's speakers yet but should next day or two. Thanks for the video!
Yeah I figured I just didn't realize it was that wet. I messed with the carb the mixture screw adjusted and idled up a bit. Which made a huge improvement. But it still will smoke. In it's defense though those ditches make the tractors grunt. I figured out that the speaker is crap and the radio maybe too. It makes the loud click through the speaker when I turn it on but no misc. Also where is the anttena located?
@@strongfarms8248 if it's not on the passenger fender it's in the windshield. Wire comes out right in the middle at the bottom. I'll be publishing that speaker video in the morning but I really didn't get any great shots of the dash and it's all covered up now (actually did it about a month ago). What year is your truck again?
@@strongfarms8248 the windshield antenna actually works really well. If the speaker makes noise at all it probably still works but won't be great. But if you can get the factory speaker out you might be able to fabricate a bracket out of it for some Wal-Mart speakers. You'll have to make a video to show what you end up doing!
Great to see the F2 out in the field again! Hope you’re loving the new grain rig!
Thanks
Looks like your having fun, abd even more special the gleaner is doing a good job
I sure am.
Definitely some jealousy here! Lol
Hehe lol Thanks for watching!
Thats a cool combine I almost got one but I am holding out for a newer john deere some day! Like the harvest vid! #WorldsOkayestFarmer
I would have bought it. This thing will run circles around the neighbors 9750sts. And the gleaner doesn't break down all the time. Lol
I’ve noticed the same thing with the corn I’ve shelled so far, it’s pretty dry and shelling out in the head.
It wasn't near as bad the rest of the field. And I started opening the big field and it alot dryer.

Yep it's a 77. This thing will just eat corn. I finished this field last night did 150 to the acre.
Looking good hope u don't lose to much in the head some of our beans shelled out really bad well have a good one
I finished it yesterday and it wasn't shelling near as bad.

SoInFarm Yes I have always wanted to see more videos about that but not many make them.
I would rather not just because it's going to be different for everyone.
grain truck sounds throaty!
Yeah she does!
