Yoh Phetola, this mirrors how my husband and I marriage started. I started following you in social media. This was happening in 2016 to date for us. He provided from our wedding, however from there, no income. This has given me so much peace, because I was the 'weird' one in my circles. My husband was great though in cooking, pick me and dropping me off from work, he would clean. He would do laundry,right now he is pursuing his dream and has started providing financially after almost 6 years. He was great when we had the baby, he was a "stay at home dad" for a whole year which gave me a peace of mind.
Sometime we forget that even if you marry someone with money you can lose it whilst married. Life happens like sickness, lose your job and many other factors.lets just love intentionally
So profound hey, I am going through this phase now and at first I was angry and frustrated but am asking the Lord to help me coz no one asks to lose their job

This is a great discussion. I agree with Buli lol (37:59). I think the situation would be easier if you're in your younger years or maybe you are faced with the challenge while you are already married (etc because of covid or retrenchment issues). However, the older you are, it's definitely a bit more challenging to accept. There are more things to look into though. Things have definitely changed.

I agree with Buli lol (37:59).
I think the situation would be easier if you're in your younger years or maybe you are faced with the challenge while you are already married (etc because of covid or retrenchment issues). However, the older you are, it's definitely a bit more challenging to accept. There are more things to look into though. Things have definitely changed.
