I really like how Riz learned about his dad being undercover as a goblin because people assume they're bad, THEN proceeds to be in the some position at the end of the episode when someone mistakes him for being a bad guy.
I like how it never occurred to them that Fabian lives in a mansion with likely many guest rooms but they're all living with poor Gilear who can barely afford to feed himself.
It's because Fabian never asked or invited them to stay at his house. Where as Fig instantly offers them her home when someone needs to a place to stay.

Clarification: it's likely that the rib at Fig was a way to show that Gil is getting more secure in his relationship with her. A lot of really guarded people love talking shit to their friends as much as possible, because a relationship where you can safely do that (instead of walking on eggshells) is a relationship where you know you're safe. So to me, this looks like Gil testing the waters with Fig and trying not to be so formal all the time. At this point, I guess he may not feel the need to do that as much anymore in order for her to like him. And that's really sweet. I'm glad to see him slowly but steadily putting his life together. 🙂

I love the way Gorgug, who's usually quiet and happy to go wherever somebody else decides, gets noticeably more talkative and insistent once Zelda's in trouble. Everyone else keeps getting pulled in other directions and following other threads and he just says "We gotta go do this now."
The fact I'm sitting in my bed laughing my ass off, picturing a tiny gnome explaining to his 14-year-old, half-orc, adopted, 6'4 son what docking is. This show has made me laugh countless time but man this scene had my crying.
Mad props to the sound department for this whole thing, but especially for 1:52:05 where Adaine is miming pressing buttons, it lines up so perfectly with her movements and I haven’t seen any comments talking about it so i felt i needed to be mentioned!
by far my favorite scene in this whole campaign is Gorgug texting Zelda while everyone tries to help him flirt. And the whole time Riz is just, having a mental breakdown over his dad.
I absolutely loved when Riz had his moment with his mom like he's kind of shook and crying like "Mom, we're all badasses! I knew you and me were badasses, but dad was badass too!" This series would make such a good comic.

Zac and Siobhan are the easiest to imagine as their characters. I don't even know what Kristen looks like anymore she's just full on Ally. Lou never breaks character, Murph has a great goblin impression, and Emily is literally Fig. These guys are great

It may not be Fig's responsibility but we haven't seen anyone 100% on Gilear's side the entire time we have known him by this episode. Mrs. Gukgak is great but she is a busy lady and a single parent; I really doubt she can help Gilear as much as having Fig be so vocally supportive of him since Fig is his daughter. I mean Gilear probably is dealing with severe depression. He's had his world rocked in a bad way. Fig is trying her best and so is Gilear, but sometimes kids take too much on when a parent is ill and maybe this is too much? Gilear needs an adult support network outside of Fig and while I hope Mrs. Gukgak helps, he definitely needs more people on his team.

I know this is sad, but whenever Brennan roleplays parents, I just wish more parents in real life had his insight and cared for their children the way his characters do. Specifically Ms. Gukgak, Gorfalax and the Thistlesprings.

Clarification: it's likely that the rib at Fig was a way to show that Gil is getting more secure in his relationship with her. A lot of really guarded people love talking shit to their friends as much as possible, because a relationship where you can safely do that (instead of walking on eggshells) is a relationship where you know you're safe. So to me, this looks like Gil testing the waters with Fig and trying not to be so formal all the time. At this point, I guess he may not feel the need to do that as much anymore in order for her to like him. And that's really sweet. I'm glad to see him slowly but steadily putting his life together. 🙂

I love the way Gorgug, who's usually quiet and happy to go wherever somebody else decides, gets noticeably more talkative and insistent once Zelda's in trouble. Everyone else keeps getting pulled in other directions and following other threads and he just says "We gotta go do this now."
Why did Kristen not ask about the God of Wine and Ecstasy? She has been _all about_ those two things for *weeks* in game time.

The Gorgug/Zelda awkwardness is really helped out by the fact that Zac looks like a 15 year old with those glasses, the polo and his hairstyle
Zac and Siobhan are the easiest to imagine as their characters. I don't even know what Kristen looks like anymore she's just full on Ally. Lou never breaks character, Murph has a great goblin impression, and Emily is literally Fig. These guys are great

It may not be Fig's responsibility but we haven't seen anyone 100% on Gilear's side the entire time we have known him by this episode. Mrs. Gukgak is great but she is a busy lady and a single parent; I really doubt she can help Gilear as much as having Fig be so vocally supportive of him since Fig is his daughter.
I mean Gilear probably is dealing with severe depression. He's had his world rocked in a bad way. Fig is trying her best and so is Gilear, but sometimes kids take too much on when a parent is ill and maybe this is too much?
Gilear needs an adult support network outside of Fig and while I hope Mrs. Gukgak helps, he definitely needs more people on his team.
