    I am using GRIT X about 5 months,and I can say that this is really good watch,but it's not so rugged, outdoor as every one say.I have the black one and the DLC coating is very easy to scratch.The better is silver version because you will see less scratches.The second thing is that there is no updates at all...

      Thank you for this, I've been wondering how the black coating fared so good to know thanks and there is a 2.0 update coming this year so you should be happy about that ;)

    I‘ve just ordered this watch mainly for my racing bike rides. Funny thing is, everyone reports on the running side and not on road bike work. Have I made a mistake?

      Not a mistake, we're just a running shoe review site! Totally works for bikes too.

    Looks like a great watch. Good to know that it has accurate heart rate monitor and GPS. Only problem I just blew $500 on an Apple Watch so I would not have to carry a phone.

    I want to get this watch, but some reviewers say you can't turn the watch off. Is this true? Can the screen go into sleep mode or something of the sort when not in use?

    • @Argonaut320
      @Argonaut320 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      i got the watch and you can restart it from the settings menu no problem

    • @gooddaymate1171
      @gooddaymate1171 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Argonaut320 restart what? When you put your arm to your side, does the screen go black? And then when you bring your watch up to look at it, does it go on?

    • @Argonaut320
      @Argonaut320 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gooddaymate1171 You asked if the watch could be tuned off, and yes you can, from the menu. When not in use the screen is very dim...if you move your wrist to look at the watch then it will go on again, mreover you can lock also the screen if you wish.

    Can you have more than 1 device connected to Polar's ecosystem like you can with Garmin?

      Hi Ronnie, I bought myself a Grit X and uses also an M400. You can use them both. Activities will be synchronized between the two devices and are shown in your daily activities in the polar flow app and on your devices.

    Would you go for the new Forerunner 745 or this Grit X for the same price?

    • @Believeintherun
      @Believeintherun  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would take this over the Forerunner, especially if you love in-depth metrics. Sorry for the late response!

    • @hdmedia7404
      @hdmedia7404 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Believe in the Run Ok! However, many users report bugs with Polar's software...

    • @Believeintherun
      @Believeintherun  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hdmedia7404 It's definitely a little clunky and the interface needs some work, but the metrics are there. Uploading takes longer than we'd like (sometimes like 2 minutes)

    Great video, one question... I currently use the Polar chest-strap. Can I use both simultaneously while I’m on a run; having both track separate data while using the app?

    • @supotube
      @supotube 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      no. you need to separate devices to track and save two separate gpx files. you can use strap with mobile or other watch.

    • @Believeintherun
      @Believeintherun  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can connect your chest strap to the watch, or use the app to track heart rate.
