The air tags are extremely handy when a dealership decided to take my dads Porsche to their lake house for the weekend when it was supposed to be worked on we knew about it

An iPhone has to be close to it to update the location so if your somewhere an iPhone isn't you have no tracking until the last time it was close to an iPhone that seems fairly unreliable for me as there is alot of country where I'm from.

Right,I thought it would give up the ghost well before it never failed under all the strain pushing back against it...
heck yeah, if you had a nail in the tire of a bike, that little pump could probably save you a wait and bill on a tow truck. Probably get you home or to a shop. I liked it.

That really was impressive. Took a bit of time, I figured all it'd be good for is bicycle tires. The air compressor in my truck is WAY bigger, runs off an extension cord going to the inverter in the cab, and still takes a while to air up a tire. I might have to buy one just to have on hand. That will be atleast 20 -25$ a unit after the shipping prices even if you buy 100 at a time. DOnt look up prices in Alibaba do it in Aliexpress for more accurate rates.
That thing looks to be about $45 on ali. They have deceptive listing where they'll list an accessory price (like a clip or adapter) and show an image of the actual device. I'm betting that's what he saw.
Love the fact that the highest safety classification in America on helmets isn't even legal in Sweden, and that helmet looked like a plastic toy helmet 😂👌

DOT is by far not the highest. It jist means it has features that allow it to he DOT approved. Because dot doesnt mean on road per say even though it needs to be dot approved to be legal for the street.

I feel the same way about their exhaust. IMO, loud pipes are even more douchey than the music.

The tire inflator was actually neat, very handy for emergency situations
That one was useless. I have one with the cigarette lighter power adapter that wont die on me. It's also half the size of theirs and fits under the seat.

The biggest downfall of the airtag is that it relies on there being an IPhone within range at any point in time. Like you said at the end with Craig not having an iPhone is that it does jack unless he drove close enough to someone with one.
When you mentioned riders blasting music I was reminded of my (now past away) friend Duane. He used to have his music loud on his Electra Glide Classic, we were at the gas station filling up I was on a VTX 1800, we were on the way to Bradford Beach on Lake Michigan here in Milwaukee. He hopped on his bike turned it on and Highway to Hell was playing, Loud. I actually was recording so I caught it, and uploaded it to TH-cam. Those were good times, I really miss my riding buddy 😔.
I’m staring at this 3 month old German shepherd pup that just kept me up all night as he continually pooped in his cage, just a wishin’, wishin’ he only cost $500.

yeah, my wife has been desperately wanting a predator helmet for a minute. watching that visor jump up is gonna kill that quick. the 3/4 helmet thing may not be a deal breaker, but if she thinks the visor's gonna fly up at 45, she'll give up on that.

Please don't buy those helmets. They are NOT good for a crash and they can be a pain in the ass while riding. I work at a gear shop selling motorcycle stuff.

Those airtag trackers, you can remove the speaker and even put the unit into another case or enclosure...for $29, better than nuffin'.

I bought a “Crosstour” action camera for $50 with a bunch of accessories, extra batteries and a charger almost 3 years ago. I’ve dropped it dozens of times, used it in the rain, and the thing still works! What’s more, the videos are rather decent, better quality than the one you tested, although far from a GoPro. But I got my money’s worth several times over. And I still use it all the time. Btw, great and entertaining videos, keep it up.

@Miura congrats. I wish i had enough money to get more into bike stuff. For now, i have to use a honda xr 125 that my family had already a couple of years. Im almost 21 tho so that's why i still dont have enough money, and also, it doesn't help that in my country, minimum wage is like 2$/h roughly
@@nobrainfound Man $2 that's rough. Even here where I live in the US and minimum wage the way it is it's impossible to make a living. Inflation and many people moving here from other places have contributed to this. Wish I could afford a muscle car as a second vehicle so that's why I started messing with bikes! lol I was your age and penny less but had grit and determination to make it happen because well you have to. Having supportive friends and family is a blessing but keeping toxic people away will benefit you greatly. Trust me on that. Not enough whip noises! I was dying at them! So perfect!!
I actually got that little radio setup for in our side by side and it worked really good...for a while. After a few months the Bluetooth function quit working which is why I bought it so I was bummed, but it still worked using a 3.5mm aux cord. Speakers held up really well and we eventually upgraded to an actual car stereo but kept the little speakers in it and they're still going strong. Not a bad little unit, but like most things that are cheap, its prone to failure.

My wife and I have been using the biker biker comm system that you showed for the last few years. I picked them up new at a yard sale for $15 and they work great just for the two of us talking back and forth and listening to music.
I have one of the portable air compressors. Use it for dual sport riding so I can drop down into the 10psi range off road and back up to 25 for riding to/from trails

I have an air compressor very similar to the one you guys used. I only ever use it to top up the air in the tyres of my motorcycle once every few weeks, but we're only talking about from 28.0 to 32.0. Nothing dramatic. It does the job.
The air compressor works great! That being said, it did NOT work on my business tires. In a word; disappointing.
Thats not the fault of the compressor, that is your fault for putting business tyres on a non-business motorcycle.
Last year I got an action cam off of Amazon for the amazing price of $18.00. I figured that if it even turns on it's amazing...and it came with a bunch of accessories too. Thing actually works half decently...no, it's no GoPro but for the price it'll take pictures and movies. I'm amazed that they could build and sell the thing...at a profit...for $18 bucks. And I suspect it's probably the same camera you got for $68 as it looks very similar and how many Chineseium camera makers can there be?

I think I have the exact same model (under a different company name) that Shawn got. But I paid roughly 40 for mine. It does a decent job. If you got it for $18, that's awesome. The accessories alone are worth that price tag COMPARED to gopro branded accessories. since the mounts are 'universal' you can buy that package, use the accessories with a gopro, and have the cheapo as a backup or as a dashcam type setup. The color isn't great. The frame drops are ridiculous. But scale it down to 30fps@720p and you'll get solid video.
You didn't know it, but when you bought the camera you joined a Chinese spy agency called Chi-Spy. Everything you record goes back to the motherland.

Honestly even the proper companies make them for cheap enough that buying it at cost (for materials and just the people who made it) would be pretty much the same.

I have a small air pump, even smaller than the one you tested. I think it was $30. Works great on the bike (motorcycle, not bicycle, although it works great on the bicycle, too). Charges via USB. Mine is about half the diameter of the one you tested.
Might be a cool invention for a locking case for the air tags. A nice secure little box that has a keyhole or something so they can’t just toss it off the bike

Apparently the Apple AirTag takes 15 minutes to Kickin.
I suppose this is good if they nicked your bike and store it somewhere overnight at least this will give you time to track your bike. Also you can play the sound and it will ping. So if it’s behind a garage door and you press play sound it will make a noise.
Where did you get the 15 minutes from?
If the air tag is in your bike this take 15 min before it’s starts letting you no is even being moved
Then You can start tracking its current location

So I watched a iTunes video and I girl got a friend to take the rucksack and drive off and it took 15 min for it to activate and start

I bought a couple of older GoPro's - 3+ Black. Around £50 each. Even though they don't do 4k, the quality is still so much better than the 'other' action cameras.
I figured when you couldn't see the location more clearly that Craig didn't have an iPhone. Plus he took it to an area behind bushes. Park it near other people and see how quickly other iPhones detect it and report location data. Love the channel, long time watcher.
But when I steal your bike I'm not near other people for long and its gonna get a tear down pretty fast.

@@jacobpie3692 no idea if you ever had a motorcycle stolen, but having an independent gps unit that can communicate on it's own is one of the few ways you'll ever see it again.
Generally speaking the thieves will stash it somewhere out of the way for a week or two to see if some one comes for it, before they either take it apart or take it to some shit hole country to sell it on the black market.

Amazon has a lot of bad motorcycle gear lol. This is the one time I would buy from other online stores.
Truth but I find certified brands store’s on Amazon so I can get 3% cash back when I spend hundreds of dollars on gear. Also the return policy is soooo much easier.

I feel exactly the same about speakers on Harley’s. Everyone tells me to get some speakers but I hate playing my music that loud. I’d rather just wear AirPods.
I have a buddy who had air tags in his band trailer. The trailer got stolen, and he was able to track it with the tags. They were the only reason he recovered the trailer. Definitely useful.
It would be kind of cool to have a rumble pack in the seat, synched to your media player as a tactile bass.
For the tyre compressor, I would just get for example a Ryobi air compressor handtool, I filled a trailer tire loaded with logs within few minutes. The size of it is same as a hand drill.
ALL my ryobi stuff works the best, start EVERY time even after sitting all winter, I'm sticking with ryobi stuff, 2 strokes, 4 strokes and electric, great tools, ALL!!!
I have a similar one, looks like a hand drill, I use it to keep an eye on my motorcycle tires.
You can take the speaker out of a air tag. That should since the "stalker" prevention.
But it would still alert the "stalker" that it's following them. It just would be a lot harder to find.

Glad you did the action camera comparison my gopro didn't last more than 20 min before it got extremely hot to the touch and completely fried its circuits
There's a dude that hangs out by the gas station down on mainstreet during bike week and he just blares music to the point you can't hear it. You can hear it from my house. I'm glad to hear some motorcycle people don't like it lol.
I think Airtags are fine in case you forgot where you put your keys. But it's useless for a tracking device in case something is stolen. If the thief has an iPhone, they'll get notified that the thing they just stole has an Airtag. That seems to be completely useless.
Android phones also have the tracking app now
The problem with the air tag is that now with the anti stalking feature it beeps all the time, so it alerts the thief where their tag is.
You can open it and put glue or caulk inside the speaker, which will drastically reduce the sound.

if you're using your air tag for anti-theft purposes, a mandatory step is to open it up and remove the speaker. The tag will still alert the thief that they're being tracked, but when they try to make it make a sound so they can find it, no sound will be produced

I have owned the air pump over a year now. Dont use it on a car tire. But tried just like them. However it has saved the day twice now. Awsome for trail rides and a quick phone charge. Also use it for just a quick tire check before rides. Check pressure and if you need some its right there.!

I've got one of those camera's at the start, not the same 'make' but another cheap version of the same camera, and it's perfectly acceptable for what it is. I use it when riding on my commute, and it does the job. The battery only lasts about 90 minutes, so that's not great, but If the choice is a cheap camera like that, or not having one it's perfect. 👍
So the mini compressor was pretty cool! I was very impressed with the time it took to pump up your truck tire. I think I will stick with my trusty, battery powered Makita one though. Put a 5A 18V battery on it and it will pump up more than one tire.

I keep a mini air pump in my saddlebag to maintain air pressure. It has a pigtail to run off of my bike. Very useful when you go lower in altitude or it gets very cold. It's also made so that it will fit in motorcycle tires where ones built for cars sometimes wont.

I agree with not blasting music around others and annoying them. However, as someone who travels a lot by motorcycle, I love having my Rockford Phosgate setup on my bike for when I am out on the highway or a backroad somewhere.
Those proverbs always come outta nowhere and catch me off guard. Watching a video about cheap crap bike accessories and all of a sudden Proverbs 13:20 lol. I'm not religious anymore but you always have a proverb that relates to the moment and shares perspective so I love it
