    I am using COE 104 Effetre and Double Helix glass
    Torch: GTT Lynx

    Amazing! As someone who can't draw straight lines or create symmetry, I am in awe of your skills. Even more so though, I love your aesthetic. Just beautiful!

    Wow, stunning execution of both the bead and the video. My heart rate actually went down. Question: do you prefer using transparent glass as a base for your totem beads? Do you then typically use opaque rods for the majority of the surface decoration? Thank you for mentioning the time frame. Thinking, too, that this takes years of practice to master. Do you soak your beads in water before putting them in the vice? I love your totem beads! Thank you for the great tutorial, please take good care! We treasure you!!

      What a kind note 🙏🏼
      My color choices are based on the aesthetic look I am after. Yes, normally a dark transparent with opaque decoration. I do like to soak beads in water before taking them off mandrels. I will make a video about that sometime! 😊

    That is so beautiful - but it took you a full hour to make. How do you go about pricing your work? I couldn't stay in one place for that long in order to make one of those beads.

    • @kristinaloganglass
      @kristinaloganglass  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you! This bead actually took me just over two hours to make. Pricing can be complicated and there are so many things to take into account. Time is only one of the aspects that I consider. The more I work the less I think about time and the more I like to think about what I want the outcome to be design wise. The meditative process of making is what makes me very happy.
