- This is a close up view over my shoulder as I flamework a long glass bead. You can see how work in my studio and how I create and shape a very long bead and then decorate the surface with a detailed dot pattern.
I am using COE 104 Effetre and Double Helix glass

You're a great teacher and a talented artist.
Thank you so much 🔥🥰
Amazing! As someone who can't draw straight lines or create symmetry, I am in awe of your skills. Even more so though, I love your aesthetic. Just beautiful!
Many thanks Kathleen! Perhaps you say you can’t draw a straight line yet your work is absolutely beautiful!
Oh Kristina, so beautiful! I LOVED watching and listening to your process. Wonderful teacher. Happy Making! ❤

Thank you for sharing. I learned so much from this video and now understand some solutions to issues I've been having making long beads. Your work is stunning, masterful, and captivating. 🤩💜
You are so welcome! And I’m happy to hear that it was useful to you. Happy making 👍🔥
Very beautiful bead!!! TFS ❤
Thank you! 😊
Wow, stunning execution of both the bead and the video. My heart rate actually went down. Question: do you prefer using transparent glass as a base for your totem beads? Do you then typically use opaque rods for the majority of the surface decoration? Thank you for mentioning the time frame. Thinking, too, that this takes years of practice to master. Do you soak your beads in water before putting them in the vice? I love your totem beads! Thank you for the great tutorial, please take good care! We treasure you!!
What a kind note 🙏🏼
My color choices are based on the aesthetic look I am after. Yes, normally a dark transparent with opaque decoration. I do like to soak beads in water before taking them off mandrels. I will make a video about that sometime! 😊
@@kristinaloganglass thank you!!

Beautiful.
thanks again
Always welcome!!
The bead is gorgeous, all I kept seeing was how it would look fantastic with seed bead worked with it to make a stunning necklace but saw no mention of where on could buy this or any of your beads.
Added: I just found your website 🤗
Glad you found my website! And thank you for your kind note 🙏🏼😊
That is so beautiful - but it took you a full hour to make. How do you go about pricing your work? I couldn't stay in one place for that long in order to make one of those beads.
Thank you! This bead actually took me just over two hours to make. Pricing can be complicated and there are so many things to take into account. Time is only one of the aspects that I consider. The more I work the less I think about time and the more I like to think about what I want the outcome to be design wise. The meditative process of making is what makes me very happy.
