    Thanks for the vids. I would love to see you make an ornament on the lathe with blown round sections and tapered end! Finial style. I'd like to fume some! Pretty Please!😊 or even a classic round shape, with a bail. I hate making blanks and would rather pull points on the lathe! Thank You so much! Bonus points for dad jokes😅

      Hi Roxanne! I love this idea! I haven't had much time to make videos lately due to many life events. I hope to get back into it in the next few weeks and I'll definitely give this idea a shot. All the best! Sim

    Love the video. Your videos are always so informative.
    I’m just starting to play with boro a little. To make them a little longer did you make a bigger lollipop ?
    A friend was making them and she suggested using flat clear rod.

      Hey Gloria! Thanks for the kind comment =). Yes, to make them bigger start with a larger gather. You can also start with a larger diameter rod depending on how good your turning skills are. Flat rods are definitely an option although I find it easier to work with round ones. All the best! Sim

      @@FusingShop I was wondering if I was able to make the glass icylces with a hothead and COE104

    • @FusingShop
      @FusingShop  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@maleckroberts6435 Yes a hothead will work for the 104 glass. Mountain glass has the head, www.mountainglass.com/Hot-Head-Torch. Make sure you have didymium glasses, tweezers, and mashers. Graphite reamers are helpful but not required. Feel free to reach out with any other questions. All the best! Sim

    What's your favorite music to listen to when you play with hot glass?

    • @FusingShop
      @FusingShop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Brian! That's a great question. I'm one of those people that got stuck in time so most of my music is rock from the 70s, 80s, and some 90s. My ears can't handle any modern music. I'm already gearing up to be a cranky old geezer in a few years lol.
