@@NatesToolbox the seals will be ruined any continually being compressed beyond design. I don’t think anyone is implying it will be put in the rain… at least I am not.
I did this today, so far the demand for sunshades is pretty low but I agree. My sunshade is falling apart on the inside and leaves pieces everywhere. This is my solution until it gets stolen because it was going in the trash anyways
@@Lonbites yess, it does. but i dont know how many degrees exactly. @lonbites965, I have tried it for 4 days the heat was 100 hot outside , I noticed a huge difference , I have a Black SUV and it's like an oven when I open my doors with mine on the inside, I tried this this wk on the outside and WOW was I impressed the heat was not over whelmimg it was so so much cooler when I opened my door to get in. 10 thumbs up. But I agree with depends on where you live for keeping it on the vehicle , to whom it concerns for theft .
...because it will definitely still be there when you get out...and someone might even write a sweet and encouraging message on it to brighten your day
You must live in a really dodgy area! If you can't leave a three dollar sunscreen on your window without someone stealing it, maybe you should think about moving somewhere else!
If you live in the hood that's a bad idea they ain't going to do nothing but mess with it also overtime it will mess up the way your doors close cuz you will create a gap
When you’re in the car and need it, it’s a good idea. But I agree with the rest of the comments it’s not very safe to leave overnight, but, who’s leaving it overnight when there’s no sun?
More stealable that way, also, even if no one rips it out through your door, it will mess up the rubbers on your doors over time and driving in the rain will become "fun".
@Zac Petersen Ha Ha. Repeatedly closing anything in the door gaskets will cause the gaskets to wear out prematurely. This leads to them not sealing good and then you get wind noise. I tend to have a couple of 20-year-old trucks. Believe me, finding door gaskets can be impossible.
Ive never seen one that wide, the one i have barely reaches the width of the windscreen as is, plus this wouldnt work with a 4wd with a snorkel in the way. Good for a small car i guess
People complaining about stealing are hilarious, what kind of bum steals sunshades, and even if you do get it stolen what kind of bum do you have to be to not be able to replace a cheap 6 dollars sunshade.
Yup it’s a glass screen than protects you from the wind. Also commonly called a wind shield in other parts of the world. We call it both here :) where about’s are you from ?
Yes of course it will work way better, same concept as outside house window blind vs inside. Problem is bird shit, dirty rain etc. Gross. Oh and people throwing sodas just to be assholes.

Wait until you get sued. You'll understand then.
70% of thefts don't happen because of need, but because it's possible.
Not only does it cut down 70% heat that also adds another 70% robbery probability to free of charge
think u mean theft not robbery
ue so cute

Intresting.. it’s more stealable this way
Maybe in some dodgy places
Yeah most of cities in us falls into 'some dodgy places' asshole
If someone steals something to save $7 then they’re next level thief.
People steal anything these days 😭 not for money but just beacuse it was stealable, they steal it to fuck with people for whatever reason
@@mqpar5.795 it really costs like 2 bucks lol must be very petty 🤣
This blocks your dash cam if you own one.
Y'all relax. I'm going to use this while I'm camping at least 🤷🏻♀️
It probably won't be there when you return back to your vehicle, but a good idea .😎
Haha over here is fortunately pretty safe

Not in my neighborhood 😮it’ll be gone soon as I go in my house
And messes up door weatherproofing! 👌
This will also ruin the seals on your doors allowing the cool rain to enter the car. Great idea!
Why would u leave it outside in the rain u use it on hot sunny days
It doesn’t work because somebody stole it and my car was hot again
Steal it back to
Who the hell is going to steal a $2 piece of tinfoil
They are $15 and people WILL take it 😂
Meth addicts would steal the gum out of your mouth, so yeah, a sun shade will go for sure
A lot of people where tf you live lol
you will be surprised lol.
If you have decorative one like mine from lunchbox, then yeah people WILL steal it.
I have always used it like this. Works perfect

Very safe here they are cheap
That’s uh…. Not great for the elements or BIRD POOP.

If you do that, buy them in bulk because you’ll have to replace it almost every day.

OK put it on the outside I live in Boston and someone will steal it in two seconds
😂😂 oh no
Boston isn’t a real place
Great idea! Here in Arizona, the summers are BRUTAL and I don’t have a garage 😭😭😭

I like the idea, man. There's some challenges to be solved, but I'd love a convenient way to shade my car in the summer.
doing this will hasten the wear on your weather seals, and they are not cheap to replace.

Thank you ... I did it and it was stolen 🤬🤬🤬

This is probably my 100th time using this method in Ca.. cuz it gets stolen .. but it works

At my job i just used endless leftover cardboard to put over my windshield to keep my car cool.
I have an oversized one that's cheap and I thought about throwing it away.....never thought about doing it this way.

Seal damage, blocks dashcam, prone to theft, prone to bird poop, etc.
Idk about this one but if that’s what you prefer its ur car
Great thought, but if someone rips it out and damages your door seals 😢
And retrieve every bit of the elements to destroy that damn thing you can't be serious😂😂😂😂
Yeah when the suction cups gets useless we are forced to use this method till it gets stolen.
Yeah except my doors do not have a window frame, so this will simply flex the glass out.
Great idea. If I do it while at work I know people don't steal in that area
Go for it!
Rain 🌧️ would get in my car like that but if lived down under hell yea.
Seriously, who would steal a $5 car shade?
Exactly lol
Some guy would, 2 years ago from my car

Good advice for when you park your car at home but not in public
What kind of sketchy area do you people live in???
NO need for AC while driving too
also think about the rubbers of your doors

So how long I til all the wind noise picks up while your driving? After all, it's bound to play hell with the door gaskets.
Why would you drive with your entire Windshield blocked
