  • In this video, I tell you how to protect your car from sun damage! There are a few things that you can do to protect the interior and exterior of your car. The sun's rays can deteriorate the quality of the interior and exterior of your car, so I would recommend using these methods (if you want to keep your car in good condition). The easiest thing to do is park in the shade whenever possible!

I'm hearing people say that car covers are not practical for taking on and off regularly and even worse that the scratch your paint, even the soft inside ones.

Park in the shade? Undercover yes but under a tree that drops sap in the heat....I’ll take the heat.

Good info! Wax melts here in Arizona lol even ceramics fail on the panels that are in the sun all the time but it’s better than nothing! Thankfully I apply coatings, but for many people who don’t, it’s pricey especially if they don’t have a garage for the car to be in most the time

Practicality of cover is another issue but what concerns me is blocking the ventilation, the air flow in the cover as this situation can increase the heat. And also dust scratches on the paint as the cover would make minor moves with the wind and dust between paint and cover would scratch the clear coat. what a dilemma:)

I put window shades in back and front windows. My neighbor always takes the shady spot. I close my sunroof cover. I'm lucky sun doesn't shine in side windows. My garage has junk in it

People that put the shades on the front window are more concerned about the dash cause that’s the direct area that’s going to get hit the most. The back window the sun will hit the seats more then the dash but I see your point

Most back glasses are tinted also.

I moved to south Florida, there is no shade, no large tree, the garage is full of my daughters, sons, and my stuff. We moved in together because of Covid-19. I did not realize how strong the son is here. My poor suv!

Covert Person Your lucky not everyone dose and most don’t have driveways so they gotta park on the street. Me myself also has a 15 year old car and at home I do have a garage but it’s only a single car garage so me my girlfriend take turns so when my cars outside I do these extra precautions

Rear windshield? Lol. The term (windshield) is for the front window to shield you from the wind while driving. The rear window is just called (the Rear Window.)
