You are going to have a LOT of fun, believe me I have one he is 2 months and 2 weeks I haven't sleeps since he hot home and he takes a lot of my energy but he makes me sooooo happy every time those little eyes are staring at me is the best thing. :)

Do you recommend Samoyeds for psychiatric service dog work?? I plan to do a lot of training and I stay at home so I have ample time

thats what i was thinking lol. i heard theyre stubborn and dont like listening too humans so i was a bit iffy.

@@paigegifford9859 well gl! in the future (as i plan to get a sd) im still gunna atleast try with a sammy. but i plan on looking for a "utonagan" in the future. if that all doesnt work out im going with a golden :'

@@user-gh5yt6li2u they are very stubborn and new to SD work your best best is going with the fab 4. Less of a chance of washout. No point in spending thousands for the animal not to work out. I was set on a Sammy but for a little more I could get a Standard poodle with a higher success rate. And Goldens are VERY reliable and great for psych work :)

@@paigegifford9859 fair, but id like to have a samoyed as a pet. i'd 1st "register" it as a esa (obviously not do pa) and start with training just incase. then i'd look for a breed i'd like to work with. ik i should be choosing a breed that would be good with psychiatric work, but i wouldnt be comfortable working with a dog that im not really a fan of since it will be going with me everywhere :p
