Hi! I am very "peecky" with keyboards as I write lots o code, I have an old 2015 Macbook Pro 15 but I use a Magic keyboard 2 with numeric (not the refresh one) I liked a lot until last 3 month ...my company's assigned to me a Macbook Pro 16 (M1Max) and I am addicted to that keyboard. Don't know why, the keys seems similar... but no, I measured them and they are 1mm smaller compared with the old Magic keyboard 2... very odd because seems very similar. On the new Macbook Pro 16 feels more natural (at least to me) and less prone to press 2 keys at once (at least to me). I ask if those keys on the new Magic Keyboard 2 update are same used on macbook pro 16, or are still similar.
Sorry Vitor, I don’t own a MacBook Pro 16 to physically test it out, but the MacBooks have butterfly keys as compared to the Magic Keyboard scissor switches? I think? Not too sure tho
depends on what you mean by durable - I've had them for years and they don't yellow or anything like that. If you're used to mechanical though you may not like this board as the travel/tactile is not even remotely close to mech boards lol. I use my mech boards for work & this apple one for personal.

A good review but please help me with some answers. I was considering to buy a Magic Keyboard purely for work with my Windows 11 PC (Macbook later, if I will have the money to buy one :) I type a lot. I mean a lot. 30k-50k characters daily. I don't want to risk having the same issues with a Magic Keyboard again where I see a hefty repair-cost or a brand new one. So my question is: Is it worth investing a lot of money to this keyboard and will it be together after intense use for years? I would hear opinion from people who uses magic keyboards for long term.
