    Decided to add the switch panel back lighting and it was worth it because it finishes off the panel nicely. Also fixed a couple of smaller bugs in the process and realised I need a ski variant control so that has been added to the to do list. Working on DA62 panels for Xplane and MSFS at present and I also have some others completed that I’ve yet to show so look out for those.

    Where can I get an empty Cessna cockpit picture ? I would use it as background in air Manager, if this works... Thanks

      The one in this video comes as part of the panel set with the instruments, it’s not available as a separate item.

      @@ExperimentalSimAvionics Thanks for the reply! But I didn't get the meaning of your answer. I have Airmanager. Is there a way I can get it or not ? Thanks. ❤️

      Not sure I get what you are asking either really. If you mean can you get the panel background featured in this video then my previous reply is valid. It is supplied only as part of a complete panel set from the ESA store. experimentalsimavionics.com

    Hi is this on DX12? Pop out doesn’t work on it, so confirming thus

    Tony, another great video and panel. Couple questions. What 24” screens are you using? The G1000 displays, are you just popping them out and dragging them in to fit or are you using a utility to do it for you? I forget the name of the utility.
    Really wish you would start selling your panels or making them available.

      Thanks Brandon. My monitors are Dell model P2418HT. Currently I'm dragging them to fit but i will have a look at the Fancy zones utility. I think i will do another video showing the pop out prcoess in a bit more detail because i've seen a few queries still about how its done with the transparency and panel settings.

    Could you please share the dimensions of the entire instrument panel, width , height and depth along with a pic of how you are supporting g it.
    Also, what yokes will you be using. I see the holes and wonder if the jokes slides will go through the panel and the panel boxes mount in the back and pls, a picture or two of that as well.
    Thanks. I’m planning on using two 16” t/s and two 7” t/s’ in a 42” or so panel,
    Pls do a video on setting up the screens. My panel will have two 34” curved monitors for a total of six and any help appreciated.
    Already purchased Air Manager and XPlane and plan to run all on a late 2021 Mac mini M1x when they come out.
    All and any help appreciated.
    Thanks Tom

      Tom the panels shown here are virtual panels so the yoke holes are just graphics and on a touch screen monitor. The size is literally the width of two 24” touch monitors with small surround. It’s 1200mm (47.25”) wide. The height is around 470mm (18.5”) and the depth can be whatever is required. Mine just happens to be around 240mm at present.if you are planning on using touch screens then I’m not sure using a Mac will work out because of the lack of touch support. You would have to check that.

    Tony, where can we find png images for the panel background like you have?

    • @ExperimentalSimAvionics
      @ExperimentalSimAvionics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You won’t find them anywhere. You just create them yourself with any graphics app that can save as a .png with transparency.

    What Air Manager Panels are you using? And what aircraft in Xplane 11 vs. MSFS2020 are you using? I am having a heck of a time getting the flight sims to work with the Air Manager G1000.

    • @ExperimentalSimAvionics
      @ExperimentalSimAvionics  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The panels are custom made by myself. This video was made with the default MSFS and Xplane C172 G1000 variants. So any of the default G1000 equipped C172 including the float or ski variants. There is a video on this channel that shows how to setup the G1000 pop outs in Xplane. The process is almost identical for MSFS. If your problem is something else you will need to be more specific.
