its good to see maximalsg comes out with improvements that covers the safety aspects like the default 2.125 tyre, suspension, instead of increasing battery size.
Yes. I was a little surprised when i saw the specs as they did not increase battery size. But when i think about it, rider comfort is actually the most important factor especially for food delivery.
Even as a part timer i already spend quite a fair bit riding my ebike. So making the stock model as comfortable as possible was a good move. This way no need to go and modify and worry kenna uplorry.

Good call for suspension and also below rack controller
The suspension really does make a difference when riding. It's so much more comfortable. And i guess they listened to rider feedback to place the controller under the rack.
However the pedals seem to have shrunk. They seem a bit smaller than the ones on the kol max. But that one can change easily.

Yes finally an ebike with suspension and sports rim. The Kol Maxx spoke rim so easy to drop 😅
Actually i never had any problems with my kol max after riding even in heavy rain
I only had mine drop recently but it was my fault as i did not see the hump and went over it pretty hard.

Drooling cash 😆 🤣 😂. There's really a lot of nice innovations to it. It seems like every other manufacturer is focusing on packing in higher battery capacity.
But the problem with that is I realize it takes so long to charge.
Maximal instead decided to focus on rider comfort. You really have to test ride it to feel what i am talking about. It's the most comfortable ride i have ever experienced.
I can already imagine it from your words.. 😂 Waiting for the green color.. MaximalSG says delivery will be after 22 Aug.. My installment will finish in October.. 🤪🤔🤭 Believe we can use back Kol Max batteries..
That is an interesting thought. I am not sure if can reuse the kol max battery on x20 as the circuits might be different. Need to verify first 😃
Hi dewi. Sorry for the delay. The maimalsg original 48v14.4AH battery will work with both X20 and X16. I have verified with eko life & maximalsg.

X20, is this a new ebike?
Yes it is. It's available for test ride at eko life if you want to try. However do contact them first as they are rotating the ebike around their outlets for customers to try.
4th generation Kudu. 3rd generation is Kol Maxx.
The controller placement is good. Same like rogi. I wish they have one more battery capacity maybe at 18ah. 3 battery size. 9.6, 14.4 and 18ah. Aside from that it looks like a solid ebike.

Thanks for your feedback! I think they could not make a bigger battery as this will push it beyond the 20kg LTA weight limit. They can only innovate within that regulation.

Yep. I am actually a bit surprised they released this version coz the it seemed like maximal concentrates on the 20" ebikes. Their previous generation don't have 16" pab.
Finally got new 20 inch ebike! I want to upgrade to ebike u using but this one u say more comfortable coz of suspension? got other color?
It felt very comfortable for me but I suggest you test ride it yourself to verify. You can check with ekolife on the test ride.
Do remember to call them first as there is only one pc and they will be sending it around their multiple outlets for customers to try.

This is the first of two ebikes in the new generation where you can actaully swap batteries.
Do take note the batteries need to be maximalsg batteries of 9.6AH and 14.4AH.
The second ebike which has the flexible battery is the X16 also from MaximalSG.
Basically rhe break down is as follows:
X20 & X16 batteries of 9.6ah and 14.4ah work with each other.
Plus if you have kol max+, the 14.4ah battery in it will also work with x20 and x16.
Other brand and ah batteries won't work.
😂 Guess Grab Adventure kids need to provide mass trainings for those june-july getting Fired Sg worker coming very very soon again 🤗. Train them to be a Grab rider

Good day 👋🏼 This is an electric bicycle. As such the laws prevents any attachment of any sort of trailers.

YES! i have been waiting for this review! My wife ebike is kol max + she got 2 14.4ah battery. She can still use them on this? If really confirm then can I trade in her ebike without the battery at ekolife. Coz want to keep the battery as spare for the x20.
Yes. You can reuse the original maximalsg 14.4ah from kol max+ on the x20.
