Your video is very helpful. I ordered the same ebike before seeing it. So excited it's supposed to be here Friday. I like the bike for many reasons while comparing it to the multitude of folding ebikes out there. I hadn't realized the throttle on the left. Kind of weird, but I assume the design is due to the narrow handlebars and the gears on the right. Now I know what I'm getting into when it comes to assembling. ~Thanks a lot!
Another viewer mentioned that the throttle can go on the other side if you’re interested in doing that.
Great Video! I also agree about the throttle on the left. Also, the cables look like you could extend the handlebars up another foot or so....

The handlers extend, but I liked them low. They feel high on the lowest setting. Will do!

is the range accurate? other bikes at the same price point have smaller ranges and i was wondering if it is good
I got mine about 2 weeks ago. On flat ground it goes around 24 MPH, throttle only. I did throttle only down hill and hit 48 MPH!! That was fast!!

Why do the cables hang out so far in front of the front handlebars? Is that normal? Or can they be zip-tied to the steering column in any way?

Hello, I just installed my brand new S3 SOHAMO EBIKE 2 days ago. It looked perfect. Please tell me how to adjust the front brake disc stuck between the 2 front brake pads. We hear a loud noise while driving. Thanks.
Hi, it’s not very difficult. Use a hex wrench to loosen the caliper a little. Then squeeze the brake lever so the caliper can center over the disc. While holding the brake lever, tighten the caliper bolts again. It should be good after that. It’s possible the brake cable is too tight, you might be able to adjust it. Search for bicycle disc brake adjustment videos for ideas. Best of luck.
@@OffGridAdventureI tried many ways but the disks have been stuck between the 2 brake pads (front and rear). I think the disks get crooked (made in China).

Can Sohamo increase battery power when pedaling?
I contacted sohamo yesterday, and they mentioned that if the cable Is long enough you can interchange on the right side.
That’s awesome. I would give it a shot.
Overall, it seems like a decent bike. I wouldn’t like the throttle on the left side either. I also don’t care for how far the wires stick out in the front. It looks kind of odd.
Those wires have extra length to raise the handlebars. I preferred them in the lowest position, but someone taller might like them higher.
Definitely seems a bit expensive to me but there are some that are even more expensive though.
I feel like the prices for some of these are randomly decided.
Could you change out the handlebar for a longer one?
