How to do leg swings

- Here are the steps on how to do leg swings:
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your core engaged.
Place your hands on a wall or other sturdy object for balance, if needed.
Keep your back straight and your shoulders relaxed.
Lift one leg up and behind you, keeping your knee slightly bent.
Swing the leg forward and back in a smooth, controlled motion.
Repeat on the other side.
Here are some tips for doing leg swings properly:
Keep your core engaged throughout the movement. This will help to protect your back.
Don't swing your leg too high. This can put strain on your low back.
Don't let your knee lock out at the back. This can also put strain on your low back.
If you feel any pain, stop the exercise.
Leg swings can be done as part of a warm-up or cool-down routine. They can also be done as a standalone exercise.
Here are some of the muscles worked by leg swings:
Hamstrings
Hip flexors
Quadriceps
Gluteus maximus
Hip abductors
Groin

I like to do 15 with each leg, then do a 1/2 mile slow jog to warm up and then do them again. The 2nd round after warming up feel so good.

I usually could run quick 6min mile , I've used your techniques and at times now my case ce has gone through the roof and I got 200cadence and 5min mile , just need fitness to catch up so I can do it longer

Hmmm you bend the knee during forward swings. This may increase injury risk. PS these are great weirdo runner things to do while waiting for a stop light to change 😂
