GoldPony (Andrew) actually did the 2019 model “Value Trim” as a review when the 2019 came out, and there is almost no difference between features of the 2020 Value trim so you can check out his video on that
I own the 2020 Tucson Ultimate and it is great. Been on a few road trips and has been a smooth ride. The only negatives I have are the quality of the camera when backing up. The resolution is poor but love the 360 view. Passing power is slow but it is not horrible. Fuel economy is ok but the tank is small so a lot of trips to the gas pumps than normal.

I thing it’s quieter that my 2017 Impala with double window acoustic glass. I really think the Santa Fe’ is 1 hella deal with Zero Financing and $4500 off sticker. The Impala was almost $10,000 off sticker. No it was NEW and in 2017 July when I bought it. Love that deep red crystal tint paint. Great WORK Gold Pony
Those yellow headlights look terrible. My 2019 Tuscon has the nice bright white LED headlights. Before i bought my Tucson, i compared it to the Sante Fe, and also the Mazda CX-5. Both are just way too ugly for me to drive around in. And i dont want a car called Sante Fe anyway. Its a terrible name for a car. At least Tucson sounds cool. The Sante Fe had a few more horsepower, but otherwise its a copy of Tucson. Go with Tucson.
Traded in my '03 Mustang GT convertible for a '021 Tucson Ultimate...= I'm a happy camper! It's a great vehicle, fit, finish, everything. I also got the Black Noir with the Beige interior. As Bender on Futurama would say; "Good Choice"!
Does the 2.4L have enough power for passing and getting off highways in emergency maneuvers. Some people say it's a really slow engine and not enough power. Is it adequate? Gold Pony which one do you own, the turbo or base? The turbo had such horrific views on chat groups under "turbo lag" and other review sites that it's a no go unless I had the turbo seriously modified, but that might not even be enough the reviews were so horrific, with people saying it's so slow on takeoff, they almost got into accidents. Great if you know how to modify cars but otherwise, sounds unsafe. But 185hp for 4000 pounds is less horsepower than a 1998 Subaru Outback which had 175 horsepower for 3600 pounds. And that car had just enough power although it was a SOHC engine. In my imagination, the 2.4L in the Santa Fe must be like driving a slow hybrid, which as a former Civic hybrid owner, was always unsafe and treacherous on off ramps and passing.
Ben: It is slow. I tried both the 2.4 and 2.0T in a new 2013 Santa Fe, and purchased the 2.0T. 200,000 kms later, without a problem, I traded. In a car, the 2.4 is not bad ( I had a Sonata), in an SUV it is noticeably slow. That 2.0T I had is first cousin to a hot rod. If you are thinking of a Hyundai SUV, I highly recommend their turbo's, and although my new truck is a GM, I would buy another Hyundai in a heartbeat. Hyundai didn't have anything that would pull a 5500 lb trailer.

I LOVE my tucson! I was looking into KIA sportages as well, but i found that even though they are technically the same company...hyundai seemed to have better quality and ratings. I also found that the seats in KIA vehicles are not the most comfortable.

Hyundai to me seems like they have the most sensitive brakes out of any car I have ever driven. Does not matter what model. You don’t have to apply much pressure and you r on your way to a dead stop.

Hyundai removed the turbocharged engine with DCT transmission, because the DCT transmission was having problems with delayed acceleration when stopped. There was a lawsuit involved so now all new 2020 Tucsons have a 6 speed automatic transmissions.
@@heribertogomez5191 you say gas mileage is better? May want to check the stats pal. The 2007 Tucson gets one more mpg city and the same mpg highway. I'll take all the awesome features of my 2020 Tuscon and you can have your 1 mpg more in the city! 🤣

It's usually because car manufacturers like to show off all the features they can offer in a model of a car -- definitely annoying though :)
