How can I not have seen this video before! I was looking for something relaxed without too many standing postures as I have injured my foot recently and this was perfect! Also as a relax after my pull workout from yesterday! Thanks again for all the great content!
Hi Ieva I really enjoyed this routine, for many reasons. I appreciated the nature background as it is too hot to go out where I live. I would always prefer to be in a natural environment if I could and so the animal sounds and scenery really helped me relax (your audio was very clear). Thank you for sharing! Your adorable comments are the reason I smile, and well because I feel great after a session with you!
Aw, I'm now smiling reading your comment Michael. Thanks for sharing that and for practising together. It always inspires me to continue sharing these sessions online when I read comments like yours 🌞 Keep on practising, keep on moving!
You’re very welcome, Emma! Comments like yours give me motivation to continue sharing yoga online on TH-cam. Happy that the session felt good for you 💚
Glad you enjoy my classes, Emma :) I will post another session this week, so hope you enjoy that one as well! 🙏🏽 🌞 Let me know if you have any requests for future sessions!
I have been having some clicking shoulder issues following training (pull-ups and bench) for climbing - feels soooo much better after following your routine - thanks for this, a lovely way to start my day!
Thanks so much for this one. I really liked not having to move a lot, haha. I’ve done a few of your sessions already, and I think one of the things I love most about your practices is that you rephrase things that clarify what I’m thinking, almost like you can anticipate my next thought. It’s very thoughtful and empathetic, and I appreciate that a lot. Thanks!
Aww, thanks a lot John! Appreciate to read your comment and glad that you find my explanations thoughtful and empathetic. Thanks for practising with me!
If it's not comfortable to sit on the ground, sit on a chair or even better - do the session standing! Hope you enjoy this routine and all the birds singing in the distance 💕
I loved the variations on Eagle Pose. For several years, I've had chronic pain in the right mid-back resulting a bad fall. That sequence did a lot to help loosen it up, thank you.
Glad to know that this sequence felt good for your back and that you enjoyed the eagle pose variations, Nathan. Thanks for sharing and keep on practising💪🏽
Didn't even realise how much tension was in my neck and shoulders until I did this video! Thank you Ieva! Used the handle of a broomstick (screwed the brush part off) for this!
Thank you for keeping it creative, and who doesn't like a sitting-down routine sometimes (I used stretch band instead of stick) :D Such beautiful scenary and could hear you fine. You mentioned pull-ups and I thought if you could consider a yoga routine that helps build pull-up strength for those who might not have a pull-up bar at home. I keep dreaming about a pull-up one day :)
Awesome! Using stretch band is also a great idea! I'm sure your dream of doing a pull up will come true! Three years ago pull ups felt impossible for me, but with time and training I managed to do 10 last year! 🙈 I feel if we want to improve in pull ups, it is very useful to order a pull up bar that can be put in between the door frame, so we could practice pull ups as often as we can. Usually the pull up bar is around 15 pounds and quite easy to attach. Or using a tree branch, stairs or monkey bars in the park is also an option. Thanks for suggestion, I might make a video tutorial of how to achieve first pull up! :) In yoga we mostly use pushing muscles and this might create some imbalance in the shoulders, therefore it's very good indeed to work on our pulling strength to have healthy shoulders. Thanks again, for practicing with me!
@@yogaforclimberswithievaluna Thank you for pull-up encouragement and suggestions! I saw your 10-pull-up vid on FB - you're so strong :D I'll look into a simple pull-up bar as it doesn't look like climbing gyms will open anytime soon in the UK. In any case, a yoga routine on pulling muscles would be useful if possible although I guess more creative thinking needed to find something to pull against (stretch bands?) rather than push against (floor). Looking forward to more of your videos :)
Wow, my shoulders are on fire during this exercise. My shoulders are super stuck after overhang climbing. I will make this a regular session to open up a bit. I use my clip stick. haha.
Yesss! I love that you are using your clip stick, so genius. Also, awesome that you are planning to come back to this routine - hope shoulders will feel better each time 💪🏽
@@yogaforclimberswithievaluna I've just re-visited this and done it again after a day surfing - perfect for ironing out my upper body after a cold sea workout! Thanks :-)
