    To stop the plane from spinning due to differential thrust, rev the engines up to about 40%-50% N1, hold it there for a couple seconds, then do TOGA.

    1:54 bullshit. Concorde was actually capable of flying an entire flight including take off and acceleration using only the engines and never the afterburners. It was just never done for obvious reasons such as super long take off run and slow acceleration but Concorde only accelerated to mach 1.6 with afterburners, the rest was done on normal engine power. Concorde could supercruise which is maintaining mach 2 and any mach it could fly without using afterburners. The TU-144 for example couldn’t maintain speeds above mach 1.6 without continuous use of afterburners which is why it had HALF the range of Concorde

    • @fromnorway643
      @fromnorway643 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Concorde really was the undisputed master of supercruise. I read somewhere that it during its life spent more time at supersonic speed than *_all other supersonic aircrafts put together!_*

    • @simonw2631
      @simonw2631 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fromnorway643 thats very much possible. I mean, Concorde was so fast and good at supercruise, that thete is only one picture of Concorde flying at mach 2.04 taken from another aircraft flying next to it. That aircraft could only follow for a few minutes with afterburners and then had to go back to base. Idk why they didn’t take another concorde and flew it next to it to take some pics but yeah.

    there is also another alternative which is the jato system or (jet assisted take off) which attaches multiple rocket boosters for large military planes (e.g. bombers, cargo planes) to take off in either short runways or to speed up take off process?, whilst not tampering with its original engines
