Yo I played this deck a lot, it was super budget friendly, super fun too, the coin tosses added some extra sauce to the longer duels, and obviously it was very strong too.
I might have to make a new series for that. The only degenerate version of ojamas is Life Cost 0 which was last week and only has ojama king in it. Most decks with ojamas in it are not only quite balanced, but are actually pretty bad in general.

I started duel links on android launch, and have had 5 or 6 stints of playing a few weeks and leaving, and each time I youtube everything possible. I miss this deck. I loved it. It was gatekeeping one of my other favotire decks at the time, blue eyes. And when they nerfed it blue eyes shot up to tier 0.5 status with the release of a strucure deck subsequently getting nerfed to unplayability. Anyways, coin flips for life.
Though head judging was added in april, it took until the very end of the year for it to be used in the deck, instead, people would run other coin toss cards and the machina boss monster, and only after dkayed made a big deal out of head judging that it became popular and more used in both this deck, as well as a staple in other decks (a very shitty one at that). But imo, the real killer for this deck was karma cut, being able to banish a card by paying with despacito, then bringing it back with buddy force was the bread and butter of this deck.
I thought of a combo involving dna surgery, limiter removal, train coupling, and montage dragon to max out a beatstick and give it piercing. I haven't tried it in practice yet as I am still building the deck to support this plot but in theory that montage derg can be absolutely jacked to ridiculous attack values if you turn it into a machine type and use machine support cards on it
I think basic Salamangreat is degenerate in duel links due to the sheer density of actions people unnecessarily pack into single turns when they run the ful archetype. Turns with salad take too long and slow games pace to a one sided (time wise) crawl. Any deck or gameplay method that slows the pace of a duel to a solitaire heavy slog is degenerate imo. It is degenerate because they dominate one player's time spent playing and force the opponent to spend more time waiting and less time playing cards subsequently sucking the fun and speed out of a dueling experience

At that time I was running my unique version of desperado deck with jinzo and jinzo summoner 😂😂😂😂 I had so many wins.

The deck pretty much fell off with the release of Invoked Cocytus as it had no out to that card.
