@@grantt1589 and we never heard about it after that episode. No mentions in the shows, movies, or comics. Not to mention if they were able to study it and then perhaps create a Beskar Kevlar type material. But it's just completely forgotten about, as far as we're aware 😒
I always had headcanon that military research of the scales was what led to the creation of phase 2 armor. I do want closure on the 'cloning' thing palps says.
I think Mount Tantiss as seen at the end of the Bad Batch is the cloning chamber for the Zillo. If you look at the schematics they released, it's hollowed out as a massive cloning room.
I would like to see this alternate scenario where the Dugs actually joined the Separatists to happen. If it wasn't for the Corporate Alliance does not place limit in its own ambitions and greed, Malastare would have voluntarily joined the Confederacy already. Who knows, maybe the Zillo Beast might not even be discovered at all and the Republic might actually lost the war since they ran out of fuel. And if the Separatists kept Malastare long enough from the Republic, the Battle of Umbara is the victory that the Separatists needed in order to pressure Kashyyyk into joining the Confederacy. With the Mid and the Outer Rims are firmly under the Separatists' control, the Republic shall be forced into the negotiation with the Separatist Parliament.
I imagine that they would have eventually, and Palpatine ordered the CIS attack on Malastare specifically to keep the fuel reserves under Republic control.
When you ask about other battles were interested in, do you mean battles seen in the actual Clone Wars where there might have been more going on than we know or battles during the Clone Wars not seen in the TV show? If it's the former, then I'd be interested in either the first Battle of Sullest, the one where Ventress was betrayed by Dooku, or the Battle of Devaron. If it's the former then I'd be interested in the Battle fo Cato Nemodia Durig the Outer Rim Sieges, or all those battles briefly seen in Chapter 22 of the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series, since you already did a video on one of those, that being the Battle of Bbal'Demnic.
Honestly I think he means any battle because they don’t just cover clone wars on this channel they just prefer to! So I mean list away! I’d like to know some of the battles that the empire fought
It's staggering how many of the issues faced by the Late Republic can be traced back to hilariously short sighted colonialism and the corruption it breeds >.>
When I first watched this CW ep it surprised me that it was the first time the republic used a massive EMP bomb on the droids despite the fact that they’ve been fighting droids for years and that every major force throughout galactic history uses an army of these things.
I don't think Republic relations with the Dugs would get that bad after the beast was very alive rampaging through Coruscant. "It wasn't as dead as we thought", that's not hard to believe.
I liked this arc since I saw it for the first time, even though it was in German, my native tongue... and remind that Malastare's fuel reserves were mentioned. But I really liked the Zillo beast - Unlike the Jedi with their cloaked view, the beast sensed there was something pretty evil going on with Palps... even before Fives found out about the inhibitor chips... Yeah, that's a battle which needs to be talked about: The battle of Rhingo Vinda 😏
The slaughter of the Dougs in their embassy on Coruscant by Darth Sidious after the failed assasination of his (then) master, Darth Plagueis (The Wise), is on the top moments in the novel "Darth Plagueis", which happens to be my all time favorite SW novel! Correction having just watched this episode the Jedi supported killing it and saying otherwise is complete contradiction to the episode, padme is the only person who wants to save it.
I feel like this was very similar to the battle of the Suez Canal where English, Kiwi and Australians worked together but under their own flags to take back what was known as modern day turkey due to a huge stash of oil reserves under the vast Turkish lands, thus leading to a huge conflict where thousands of Turkish lives were lost just to protect the land they were trying to make their own
Ottoman Empire. Moreover, Britain controlled the Suez as Egypt was a protectorate. Not to mention the fact that this occurred in wartime. Your fantasies of imperialism don't hold up to scrutiny.
Not so sure of that. Reform yes. But you have to take into account the high level of crime and how corporations had their own armies. And this was with the Relublic in charge. Who knows how bad it could have gotten without the Republic. The New Republic tried to be the same and look at how Imperial Remnants and the First Order ran circled around them. Besides, what would replace the Republic on a galactic scale? Before the Clone Wars the corporations would be the answer. Corporations who became members of the Separatists and ran the droid military. If it wasn’t for the Separatist Crisis and the Clone Wars, Padme and her faction could have tackled the problems of the Republic instead of watching it turn into an Empire.
I like nearly everything you post. But you are wrong. The arch shows why it is important, why the republic needed it and with the beast shows just how badly they needed it.
Zillo Beast: "FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS I LAY DORMANT, WHO HAS DISTURBED MY- Oh it's Geetsly talking about me. Nice."
Geetsly is the man when it comes to Star Wars
Nice TFS reference
“FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, I LAY DORMANT! WHO HAS DISTURBED MY-Oh, hey, Goku. What’s up?”
Seriously hope we get proper closure for this arc, what with the Zillo Beast's armored scales and their hyped up military potential.
It's basically organic beskar
