Same here. I’ve been using Procreate for 2.5 years and am always wondering how so
Many ppl can do certain things or make their art pop but I never could and not from lack of trying either. Now I know why and how and I had to pause the tutorial so many times to go and trying things out and my art has already improved a great deal!!!

I will have to disagree as an artist on how you are teaching this to your audience.
    1. Chromatic aberration without context makes 0 sense. You need to understand color theory better in order to explain why this works on your pieces. This would not always be the case for other styles unless there is context withing the art piece suggesting there is a reason why you are using chromatic aberration.
    2. Using gradients all the time to call attention to the main subject without context also does not help the student understand that the gradient is there for a reason. Random cute colors does not always make for a less boring piece of art.
    3. Textures do not add interest from the person watching the art piece. It adds more information. But also, AGAIN, without context more information does not mean less boring or bad.
    4. Using the blur creates depth. And yes, it creates a focal point for us to "Focus" just like in real life.
    5. To get proficient in color adjustments you need to understand color theory. You are so not teaching people the right thing.
    6. Adding light? You mean understanding VALUES.
You are clearly a great artist, but I think you should do more research to inform your audience about understanding the reasons these techniques work. This is your workflow, and you are definitely young and talented more than most. However, being a great artist and a good teacher are two different things. if you want to be a good teacher to your audience, I do recommend understanding the reason why things work. This is clearly your workflow but you have fail to point out the "why it works" by just pointing how these techniques work for you.

I have to 1000% disagree with you!! What I’m about to say is in reference to myself, but Im sure the majority will be the same.
1st- shame on you for attempting to tutorial shame Elena on Social Media.
2nd - shame on you for calling Elena a a bad teacher.
3rd- I, as do the majority of the population already know about color theory and grey scale and all that. Hell most of us have been to college or taken private art lesson or both and some of us have also taken art in junior high and high school before going on to college or private lessons, but not all of us have taken the time to go through each procreate tab and learned what each everything can do,
but Elena has and she gets 10 stars from me for sharing this information because no one else does. There’s so many tutorials out there to show people how to create art, but no tutorials to show you how to make the art WE KNOW how to create, and emphasis it, or make it pop, so THANK YOU Elena fjordwind for that and we all appreciate you very much and to the person attempting to shame Elena… if you don’t agree, or you’re jealous or whatever, just simply go away and mind your own business or better yet. Go create a tutorial since you think you’re the only one thats educated
