Yo bro for a tech pack for something like a full knit design, if it’s a full custom design for the garment how do I send them the design png if it’s custom and fitted only specifically for the garment? Similar to the green knit sweater u made on procreate, how would u make a tech pack like that (not being limited to procreate). Thanks!
This is the primary problem with using procreate as a pro device , your design will be disordered, essentially you’ll need a seperate file with your gradient design in it and also another seperate file for your logos, with the specified Pantone’s - again something the program does not have. In summary like the other videos on this topic you need 1 your mock up with your design to get an idea on production 2 your detailed technical , 3 your design and print files with color codes if necessary.
@@DesignedByWil so for example that gradient design, would it just be in a the image of a square, because essentially that’s what u would be designing on in any software, ( I use a software called pxlr btw)
The iPad does not even come close to the my Mac for fashion design don’t be fooled, this is cute and all but , doing technicals and heavy graphics you need something stronger that has access to all the full apps
Hey man! I have been watching a lot of your videos and I really love your work. Wich tool do you reccomend to learn first if I want to start a clothing brand and make dope designs? Photoshop or Illustrator? Do you think Kittl is really a good option to start ig I have no experience?
A video to show how to vectorize procreate files would be great, Illustrator is still the way to go for the manufacturing process. If there was a way to make it where you wouldn't need to use illustrator to vectorize, that would be a game changer.
Not impossible, but just a very very long process. As thresholds are not a thing in the program. So the only way about that would be to draw which isn’t the best just makes life hard if you want to do that style of art .
@@Kentarius I have done it, it literally took 3 times the amount of time. to even cut an image out so its clean took forever, let alone adding in textures that are cut form the image and not just overlayed
Hi, I got a question. When I import my design that’s 3000 x 3000 to my procreate Canva that’s also 3000 x 3000, when I resize the design down so that it gets smaller it tend to get really pixelated and blurry. Any way to fix this? Please and thank you!
@@DesignedByWil hmm I see. I’m curious then. So the design is a wolf I made in in which I have in PNG, PSD and AI (Procreate don’t support AI), which format should I send the manufacture of the design for best quality then? Please and thank you.
@@RetroKid-w2z if you have the illustrator file , then that’s by far the best option . But some designs can’t be made on illustrator so psd or procreate file 3kx3k is more then fine
@@DesignedByWil thank you for you quick reply. The thing is, I didn’t make the design, I only got procreate to work with. I only received the design from a designer in these formats. I can only import the PNG and PSD sadly. Though, affinity designer 2 on IPad might be an option. Should one learn it? It support vector files so I could import the AI and scale it to my liking. Only last question if you don’t mind. Let’s say I stick with procreate only and I scale down the design and place it on my hoodie mock up but the design do get pixelated and blurry/harder to see. Will that be an issue to the manufacturer even if I do a tech pack and upload the clear design there and drag a line to where on the hoodie mock up it is for reference even if it’s not showing much on the hoodie mock up but as long as I show the clear photo of what’s there on the hoodie mock up?
@@RetroKid-w2z question 1 answer - never used any affinity products so don’t know . Question 2 you send 2 files one of the design on hoodie to display placement and print style , and you send over the design files as well , labeled print and production
This is for people who don’t know how to draw 😅. Unfortunately procreate is just drawing unlike photoshop where you manipulate found images in this program you must draw to get your outcome.
Can you make more procreate videos
Facts
Will do just a bit repetitive because all we can do is just draw. Missing some effects that make designs complete/ easier for professional production
i cant find the pro create techpack in patreon
Please make more procreate videos!!! And tech pack in procreate!! U killin it bro 🔥🔥
What kinda device are you using bro?
This guy really helping me a lot. Thank you man!

Learn all of them , if you starting from ground up you have no understanding and you want to get a head learn them all

Why my mercury lines are thick and not thin like yours
Do you know how I can transfer my designs to a print? for my manufacturer to print it onto the shirt?
Same process as any program , need to be on a separate procreate file , share it as a psd , and png and you should be good
Please make a technical on preocreate pla

Just use images trace ? For all the line work and recolor the art work. Same as any image or drawing that uses pixels .
Hey can you make different playlist like one for PS, Kittle,…etc or “how to make” ?
good idea.
We need that 1800 style video but for procreate

More Procreate videos

how do we this on illustrator/photoshop
This is auctally easier in photoshop , same process , like word for word. You use the paint bucket for the fill, which is the only thing different
