    I always enjoy Claire‘s taste testing. She is so much fun with such a sweet sense of humor. You two seem to be a great match! And yes, I will definitely try this (although not sure how to achieve cutting the beef in such thin sclices 😮 But I love Udon noodles!😋

      If you live near a Trader Joe's they sell very thin sliced beef. That's where I get it when I'm making one of Aaron's yummy recipes.😊

      You can partially freeze the meat and slice it with a sharp knife to get the slices thin!

      So savory, delicious! My son said it was so much better than his favorite fried Udon noodles dish at a Japanese restaurant we like to go. I agree ☝️ I have tried many of your recipes, Aaron, and they were always great! Thank you for sharing with us.

    Interesting, Ive been making something similar to this for a while. For the sauce I use light soy, a little dark soy, honey and chiu chow and then mix it all in with a little sesame oil. I cook the veg seperate, same ingredients as this video minus the chives and sesame seeds. I add the oyster sauce later followed by some chinese cooking wine then finish it off quickly with some bean sprouts. For the noodles I generally use Monika Pancit Canton Noodles or Singapore Style ones. Certainly going to try this way though if my shop has Sesame Seeds and Chives.

    Is there any good substitute for oister sauce? (Cause of allergies 😢)

    • @AaronandClaire
      @AaronandClaire  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! 😁 Instead of oyster sauce, you can just add more soy sauce. Of course, it could be lighter or thinner than oyster sauce, but still gonna be good, so don't worry! 😉👍

    • @Dewabarasunderan
      @Dewabarasunderan 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AaronandClaire Usually I am using some Worcestershire Sauce in addition to soy sauce to compensate for the lack of oister sauce, but I was hoping to find a good substitute for the umami taste of the oister sauce.

    • @AaronandClaire
      @AaronandClaire  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love Worcestershire sauce but it's no a good substitute for oyster sauce because that can be too strong or too acidic.😭 Soy sauce itself is full of umami, so that'll be good substitute. But if you really wanna add something for more umami, I suggest using mushroom powder. Hope this helps! 😊🙌
