Rick, nice insert. What kind of fence is that on your table saw?

Thanks Sevo, it's an old Jet XACTA 40" Commercial Fence.

Thanks, very helpful instruction, makes it easier than deciphering from the package directions. I'm all set now to do the install. Cheers

Nice work there. Very detailed description of how the micro jig works and how one might choose which side to deploy when making cuts. Particularly liked seeing how you made the inserts and the manner in which you got around the high blade by using the 8" blade to begin the cut. Thanks!

Great video, thanks for sharing. I am going to be doing a project with my son (14 y/o) that requires some thin cuts on small stock and the zero clearance insert will be needed to keep the pieces stable on the table throughout the cut. There are so many items in the shop (like table saw inserts, racks, jigs, etc.) that can be purchased relatively cheaply but it's always more fun and rewarding to make them.

Thanks @jerrell2020! I love father/son bonding with mine in the workshop as well and occasionally throw them in a video. Stay safe and thanks for watching!
