    Yes exactly, the self blaming for "falling" again. If only I didn't do this or that, maybe I wouldn't have sunken back down to this depressive episode or this low frequency. And then the blaming and guilt and shame keep you down even longer. Very good advice on this will pass, and it will pass even faster if we stop blaming ourselves, and just use the tools to get out of it. But if self blaming has become a habit, it is a tough one to reprogram, but it can be reprogrammed. In fact if we look at every time we "fall" as an opportunity to react to it in a healthier way instead of blaming, that is good. But it is a journey and everything is easier said than done, but we will get there one step at a time

    Thank you for sharing this message. Very good advice. Also I'm glad you are sharing this because one of the major affects of depression is thinking you are alone, or you are the only one who has felt this way. So hearing things from someone else lets that part of you know that you aren't alone, and that you aren't weird or lesser because you have experienced this

      Exactly, you are never truly alone

    Okay last comment. Just want to say I appreciate all the advice, from the practical to the spiritual or holistic. Even simple things like diet, exercise and vitamin D is huge advice and is very helpful. Sometimes when I'm stuck in my head and the energy isn't moving inside of me, moving my body helps circulate both my blood and my energy and can free you from your own mind

    Informative video. Would you be able to make a video on lomg-term depression over the years and its ebbs and flows across long-term time period?

      @@Abundantindigo Well, I have been suffering from depression since I was about 18. I thought I had overcome it by the time I was 21-22. But then it surfaced again a few years later and lasted for about a year or two. Again, I thought I was free. Then it surfaced again about a year or two ago. What I realised is that I had never really overcome it. It just decreased in its intensity. I am working on it again armed with this knowledge. I am trying medication, meditation, etc. Mental health issues aren't really taken seriously where I am from. But more resources and perspectives are always welcome especially from people who have gone through the same.

    Id like to know some tips for gaining confidence back. After years of chronic illness, some break ups, SA, self harm.. i feel like im paralyzed out of fear im not going to be good enough . Im an artist and its becoming just increasingly hard to paint even though when i do i am satisfied with the result. Instead of being in the flow now its just like overwhelming fear with every brush stroke that im going to ruin it.

    amazing video very helpful 🙏 what do you think about supplements for dealing with anxiety?

    • @Abundantindigo
      @Abundantindigo  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I could make this into a video if you want, but they do help for sure I’ve seen a lot of people feel night versus day with supplements but my current belief is that you have to work harder and get to the deeper root to help solve the problem
