  • Part 3 of our supercharger cooling system on project Redfire. We flow test the system as well as all the individual components trying to find what's causing our insanely high intake air charge temps on this 03 Terminator Cobra.

      I think it just takes time to get the word out. Could use all the help sharing videos and telling people about what's good and what you like :)

      @@MalcolmV8 I will spread the word. Your videos are technical, comprehensive and very well put together. You remind me of Richard Holdner with the way you test things. I really like how you tested each component of the cooling system. Brick, HE, ect. Keep up the great work, thanks. I really appreciate people in the car community like you. Your videos and cars are badass. Thanks again Mr Malcolm

    You will definitely pick up flow with the VMP brick. But remember flow doesn’t always equate to heat transfer. Though I’m willing to bet the VMP will transfer heat better also.

      I agree extra flow won't always equate to heat transfer but the lack or flow or poorer than expeceted performance I believe indicates a potential problem. I love digging into this stuff :)

    I have heard upgrading to VMP's 1 inch adaptor lines with their upgraded intercooler brick makes an even greater gain in cooling things down than just the brick alone... That would also be something to test in the future.

      Yes I have all 1” lines. Unfortunately due to really long back orders I was not able to get my hands on the VMP manifold. However I worked with what I had as best as I could as you’ll see in the follow up video to this.

    Very cool vid. I have a trunk take with a RULE 2000 pump, makes me river wonder what mine is. I see 120 temps cruising and when i ice it at track 80-90.

    • @MalcolmV8
      @MalcolmV8  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very cool. I assume that 120 is not fully heat soaked? Or cooler weather cruising.

    • @Wings65288
      @Wings65288 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MalcolmV8 yeah it's just cruising in this 60 degree weather. Very rarely does it get about 80 in the summer here

    Awesome video and data. Curious to see the VMP numbers. I have a J2fab intercooler I plan to run on mine

      Agreed. Great video with concrete data. I also have the J2Fab entire set up. So, looking forward to the VMP intercooler test data. Thanks Malcolm. 👍
