Phil lost weight and sounds better than he has in 24 years. They are starting to sound so much better every show. Honestly I would love them to drop a new album in tribute to the bros. I think they could come up with some amazing music for us to appreciate
This should be on Panteras page 🤦♂️🤷♂️ this isn’t Mickey fucken mouse
Thanks
Amazing! Thanks for posting this! I wish I could have been there but this is the next best thing. Looks great! 👍
@@ToiletCloggerfuck yeah brother!
Can we all just be grateful Phil is still alive
All of em.💪😎
indeed no complaining this shit is good
Phil as well as Rex!
No
Stronger than All!!
As much as I like Phil, I never thought he had this in him anymore. He sounds better than I thought possible in 2024.
Same, but for some reason it’s weird as fuck watching him walk around barefoot lol
we saw them in Detroit in Nov and it was cathartic to say the least. But beyond that, the level of energy in the crowd, the level of musicianship from Zakk and Rex, but the two who really surprised me were Phil and Charlie. Phil sounds as good as he did mid-90's. You can tell that he feels the magic they made in these songs and he brings it. Those are the songs of his youth. There's so much vinegar. He is transported. And Charlie. Vinnie's groove is so under appreciated, so overshadowed and overlooked. Charlie has nailed so much of his nuance. It may not be Pantera, but especially when you are in the arena, you close your eyes, and its like being in a time machine.
they have electronic Vince in the drum mix; I bet they have old electronic Phil in there too.
This is so raw and so respectful and those guys are doing Vinnie and Dime justice by playing their so songs with much emotion going through them for the great band that they were! 🤘🏻peace✌🏻
@@gtaveteranPhil’s been doing that since the 1990s lol
Zakk’s brain must be like a library of riffs. Even with rehearsals he’s constantly playing shows with different bands. To keep up with that much material is impressive in itself (not to mention the intricacies of Dime’s guitar playing).
The Pantera celebration is easily one of the best sounding performances unlike other bands that have tried to play with only half their members, Great way to pay respects to Dime and Vinnie, they are doing a great job.
Right? i wasn't expecting it to be THIS GOOD! so glad i've been there.
Most attempts are absolutely terrible
we saw them in Detroit and you close your eyes and except for some of Zakk's occasional telling flourish, you're basically in a time machine.
@@Rickkelley365 only to those who never saw the original Pantera. This is a commercial tribute band.
@@bookofthedamned well, they're also 25 years older. Who was expecting perfection??
First time playing Floods live in 23 fuckn years!🤘🥃
the chick yelling for Drag the Waters, i feel ya girl! I'd love to hear that live
And her friend asking for 25. One of the greasiest riffs 🔥
I give praise to that drummer Charlie Benante ...61 years young and playing like that !!! That's awesome
At 49 years old this brought tears to my eyes and all 6foot 5 of me covered in goosebumps..VInny inspired me to be a drummer and Dime with those heavy riffs..wow didn't know how i was going to feel about this....I loved it thank you guys...horns up forever Pantera!!!!!
51 here and I'm catching this show in 10 days in KC. I had those exact feelings last year when all the shows started hitting youtube. I'm a drummer as well and Pantera has always been one of my top 3 favorite bands. Anthrax is also top 3. Charlie my favorite and most inspirational drummer. Anything Zakk does is gold. The opportunity to see both Charlie and Zakk, together playing this material is an opportunity of a life time. I saw Pantera many times over the years and hearing this songs live again has been significant too me personally!
@@jmbkc1391saw them at met life with Metallica walking in to first song hearing and feeling the thunder of the drums took me back 26 years! Going to NYC on the 18th enjoy the show
Same thing happened with me at my 46 , the tears went out
50 here. Not gonna say I didn’t get choked up a couple of times just from the joy that show brought me when I saw them in Austin. You could feel the energy.
I bawled openly like a baby!
Floods was a tremendous surprise! Zakk made me proud! They kicked ass last night!
55:56 sent chills down my spine. Amazing performance of floods. 🥹
Edit: It's at 53:30 now.
Omg same man 🥹🤘🏼🔥
@@MisfitRosieee
Same here 🤘
My favorite part of the song.... had to watch it twice.
@@johntom23 that solo and those outros🔥🤘🏼🤘🏼🖤 Fvcking AMAZING 🔥
I never thought I’d ever see this song be played again live again!! So glad they played it! It’s one of my favorite Pantera songs. The entire The Great Southern Trendkill album was amazing tbh tho
Saw it live in Tampa, and man, you could feel it in the room. Nothing but pure love from everyone , it was the best concert I've ever attended.
No more Dime... No more Vince, but damn is this a good way to keep them alive!
Holy shit! They did floods. The look on Phil’s face after the solo
Amazing
He loves that Zakk nailed it
The fact that Phil is even still alive and sounding nearly as good as he does here is something else.
💯
It's so hard to believe Phil has that much range and wind still...... how on earth did he repair his vocals..
Phil’s voice is amazing
Zach nailing floods!
Imagine the pressure of playing one of the best solo ever...and nailing it. Legend.
Yeah he’s done a great job paying tribute Dime in my opinion
Zakk just made my day what a legend dimebag would be proud of
I saw em play last year and they didnt play floods damnit
He played it terribly. Look at videos of Dime playing it live and then laugh.
My 28 yr old son and i are taking my 14 yr old daughter to see them tonight in Nashville
Review next! ;). So cool to see these multi-gen live music experiences! 👍
My 9 year old daughter has been pluckin away on the electric guitar since she was 6. I'll be taking her to see John 5 and the Creatures in September. Her first live show ever. I just got her a new guitar. She wanted a Floyd Rose, ouch...( Kramer Nite V)
Zakk never misses leg day.
Or arm day. Dudes absolutely yoked
He's jacked asf.
Phil does
Lol what legs?
Dime and Vinnie will never be forgotten! Thanks for posting this show.
I was there last night with my 9 years old boy. was his first concert, what a way to start intros rock n roll concerts world. what a great show
Took my 9 year old son to the Detroit show. It was awesome. Wish I had known they would have been back 3 months later and at a fraction of the cost. Could have cared less about Metallica. Phil is becoming the “Pop’s’” of Heavy Metal.
I love Metallica and Pantera. Being in my mid 30s I'm ashamed for never seeing either one of them live. But there's still hope.
Bringing my 17yr old daughter to the Pantera/Metallica show this summer 🤘
That's awesome parenting there fellas, took my son when he was around 10,11 to his first concert, reinventing the steel tour.He loved it and still talks about it to this day, great dads we all are, hell yeah
Phil was so proud after zakk nailed floods solo 😂😂
Teared up during the solo for floods. So special.
I was there in the 90s... caught em on the Reinventing tour... man, this awesome. Dime and Vince are proud. Total respect to Zakk. The Floods playing... wow.
I first saw them in 96. Worcester Mass. White Zombie and the Deftones opened. First day of 11th grade, skipped school the next day. Shit. Somebody stop the bus...
Frontman is the toughest role for an aging band, these guys are still great
Zakk nailed Floods! He was feeling that for sure
Flood solo zakk brought tears to my eyes
The last time I saw Pantera was during their 1996 tour, which also featured White Zombie and Eye Hate God. I was only 14 years old at the time, back when metal bands frequently visited Miami. Fast forward to today, I had the opportunity to take my little boy to see Pantera with me, which was a deeply memorable experience. Thank you for uploading this concert.
CFH 4 LIFE!
I saw that tour in Worcester Mass. 96. But it wasnt Eyehategod at the show I went to, it was DEFTONES. Apparently the tours alternated the openers. White Zombie was cool, crucifird monsters hangin from the rigging and all...
Ah, to go back in time.
Aint no goin back is there?
Shit.
Floods gives me the chills… what masterpiece..
solo is Amazing…
Floods is a Masterpiece by itself 💯 who wanna argue? 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
zack is killing all the shows. the best man to fill the void.
I see a lot of negativity about this reunion but there’s no doubt in my mind Dime would be looking down smiling at Zak killing it the way he is
@@Themaskplaguezakk is the ONE dude who, if Vinnie and Dime could see, they would not argue with.
@@Rickkelley365 100%
I concur! Zakk is pure!
he's far from a carbon copy but I feel the respect and love in his performance
Good god they are in sync and in tune. Sounds damn near perfect. Long live Pantera
This was amazing.
I wonder if Phil could still do Cemetery Gates.
Phil is always pointing up to the heavens for dime and Vinnie what a great freakin thing
Respect to the girl at 57:57 that said "DRAG THE WATERS"
...she even had a Pantera tattoo ;)
It's not really a good live song. .
@@Wynne-oz2ws It's hardly ever been performed live at all 😂
@@Wynne-oz2wshow
@@Wynne-oz2ws 😂 You're crazy.... ALL Pantera songs are good live ( some better than others ) ......except for "good friends bottle of pills" .....
Thank you to who ever recorded this. Amazing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Yes me to thank you thank you soooooo much for taken the time to record this for us fans who can't make it 🤘🤘🤘✌️🖤🤘🤘🤘
13:08 oh fuck yeah, proper aggression
Edit: Don't mess with my emotions like that on the bridge...i almost flew out of my chair
And Zakk is absolutely destroying this feedback solo...man, its so good! Dime would be on stage tearing it tf up right along side them with pride
I thought Charlie Benante did an Awesome job! His whole body was getting into the groove while playing those drums. He was feeling the music!
I had so much God damn fun!
I felt the love from the crowd and smelt the pot lol!
I love this version of Phil!
Went to this show since I never got to see Pantera in their prime. It was one of the best concert experiences of my life. I was in the back, lower bowl, dead center but high enough that I had a perfect view of the show. Phil sounded great, Rex held it down as always, and Zakk and Charlie did Dime and Vinnie proud. I was on my feet rocking out from the moment they took the stage, even at 44 this stuff takes me back to my teenage years. Lmao, woke up the next day with headbangers neck lmao. Totally worth it. Got myself a tour shirt as well to commemorate the night. If they ever come back I'll be there for sure.
Hell yeah I can't wait this Saturday in Baltimore
Charlie is KILLING it!!!
Badass! I would like to have this on DVD 🤘🤘🤘
Rumour is 4th home video will be made with all this legacy tour footage combined with stuff from the reiventing steel tour unrelased stuff
I saw them with Metallica at Giants Stadium…and absolutely CAN NOT WAIT to see them at MSG Feb 22!!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
floods sounds sooo good
For real
you'd hit that solo better1 Zakk still did good and killed the outro!
They better play FLOODS in Tampa!
Phil still kicks. Brutal.
DONT THINK OUR BAND WOULD EXIST WITHOUT PANTERA..... BIG INFLUENCE ON US
Fuckin Rex with that bass in Hollow 🤘🏻😎🔥
Fucking love seeing Rex and Phil back on stage again after 20 years
Was there \m/ Rocked and danced start to finish🤘🎸Thank you for posting!
Floods was amazing! Also, I’m so happy they picked Charlie Benante! He nails these songs every time.
Charlie 100% Benante 🤘
cant fn wait for the tampa show!!! been waitin to see pantera since 1997 sophmore yr in high school. seein it with buds from high school like it was meant to be. thanks for the vid
Great show. Was front row in front of Zack! Got his pick, Rex Brown's and Mark Morton's from Lamb of God!
I will be seeing them in 48 hrs in KY and its been 24-27 yrs since i seen the original lineup and spoke with dimebag. Im so happy that these guys sound as good as they do and i wouldn't want anyone else besides them. Im soo looking forward to this and thanks for the video. CFH forever and rest in peace to Abbott brothers. And onw more thing, much respect to Phil, no where since they started this tribute, have i seen him talk about himself. He gives all props to everyone else. He has grown no matter what anyone says🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘💪💪💪💪👊👊👊
You can see how focuded Zakk was during floods solo, no joking and bending around. I bet he was so under pressure to nail it, because this is so iconic solo and he want's to respect Dime and his legacy. Phil reaction is pricless at the end. Respect and approve!
Floods solo got my eyes leaking...sounded great
wow this aint no tribute band I seen im Memphis a couple nights ago they blew the roof off the place
i was there last night , solid show . thanks for posting it .
I was lucky to witness pantera in aus for the reinventing the steel tour.. cant afford price of gigs these days.. good for people who never got a chance to see pantera see the closest thing they will to seeing em.. get ya pull!! 1:02:16
Believe it or not the day of the show is the best time to buy tickets because they wanna just get rid of them sometimes half the price
I saw these guys in 1997,I went to the Ozzfest in Denver with a free ticket.
I didn’t really know many of the bands but I went just to get out.
This is probably the loudest I’ve ever heard a band play ever in my life, the guitar player’s hair looked like a windmill.
I wasn’t familiar with any of their songs.
Was a great show last night. Thanks for posting
Very good performance of floods
So happy they added floods!
Phil improved his voice amazingly for this tour. You can tell he really wanted this to be the best it could be and its beyond what many thought it was going to be.
Was there last night... fantastic! Couldn't believe how good Phil sounded
Thank you for this upload
I WAS HERE! Such an amazing show from both lamb of gos and pantera
Badass. Brought me to tears. Can’t wait to see them!!!
LOVE PANTERA glad there touring!
They sound freaking amazing 😮
Barefoot Phil is sick
Unbelievable!! So freakin great man! Phil is blowing my mind! Dude sounds phenomenal! Rex is always a beast, Charlie is killin it! An fockkk when Zakk ripped Floods I got chills!! 🙌🏻 Brilliant!
Greatest live metal band currently touring. Hands down, this sounds CD quality. Clean Phil is a force to behold. Wow.
Totally rocked!!! Pantera and Lamb of God Kicked of this 2024 tour with a bang, the show was awesome, had a great time.
Thank u so much for recording this for all of us🤘🏻
Thank you.
As someone who also suffers from chronic back pain and being a metal head, i can see what Phil is going through to take care of his back during the performance. Good on him for still truckin hard though. And he sounds so much better! His voice is in top tier for his age and wear and tear. He took this project serious and wanted to redeem himself with the brothers. Can't wait to see them in August myself!
Holy shit this sounds so fn good man. They are nailing it. It sounds like they're not even playing that shit, like it's a CD or something.. so crazy.. such a sick live video bro. Thank you so much for sharing this.. 🤘🤘
That's gotta annoy Phil that Zakk is constantly moving to the middle of the stage, instead of staying on his side.. Lol.
Im happy Rex is looking good again 🤘
Phil is rested up...fucking slaying! Saw them 3x last year...on deck to see them again soon! Insane! \m/
This is right where I was seated ! Great show.
I love it. I need to go see them before the run is over
Thanks to that great person that filmed this gig! Too awesome

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to the Tampa show tomorrow, sounds like it's going to be Amazing... and damn... Floods. I hope they play that here! 🎵
Tampa is Flooded for sure...
I can't wait till Pantera releases a new album.
Thanks so much for the upload of this concert. What an amazing show. Long live Dimebag and Vinnie ✌❤🇨🇦
Rock on!
This show was absolutely insane. They couldn’t sound better and lamb of god got everyone fired up
was there last night, the energy was off the charts! and lamb of god was excellent as well
Floods had me in tears. Every note and every beat
RIP Dime and Vince
Seeing them for the second time, in Adelaide. So STOKED.
The only crowds these days worth being in are in South America,Chile to be exact..The Benzos and the phones have have turned America into ZOMBIES..Go watch a PANTERA show or any show from the 90s and tell me I am wrong...Sounds great, but I will stay home and remember the 4 90s Pantera shows I was at...Move a little crowd or at least nod your head a little to that sweet ass groove.
Absolutely. South America still goes WILD! Europe a few places. Australia is still pretty good too but yeah Chile has the most insane crowds!
Shame. I always go wild regardless and I’ll be all alone doing it sometimes. Fuck it.
I can't LOVE this enough
How good does Phil sound! Really hope this tour comes to the UK (Scotland)🤘
Suicide note pt II had me in shock. The balls on these guys. Phil NAILED it.
was there. they were so fkng on point.
So proud of Phil Anselmo ♥️
That bass player got the moves!
Wow. I was hoping they at least wouldn't mess it up, but they NAILED IT. That performance was amazing, and a very worthy tribute to the history of the band. Awesome stuff.
Zakk NEVER let us down. Long live PANTERA.
I remember seeing them for the first time in 1990 at the Diamond Ballroom in OKC, OK. They were sandwiched between Prong and Exodus (headliner) That day changed my musical taste forever!
