L15B7's can handle around 375hp on stock internals. the transmission can handle about 300hp, but torque is what kills them, as they can only handle about 250lb/ft of torque safely. I imagine they tuned it for low torque
@@Rictua The dyno sheet shows 45.9 which is around 332 ft lbs. The motor is stout and can handle the power. But the torque is going to destroy that transmission. Whomever drives that car will always be limited to around 60-80% wot, anything more will slip.

If the torque is low in the low especially in the lower RPM’s and it’s not being abused with digs it should be fine.
