AT WORST he killed someone in self defense (not what the court concluded so probably not even that). If we’re demonizing someone for acting in self defense you probably shouldnt wonder why youre on the short bus
My biggest takeaways are that it's cool that one game helped the player see the field the same way real QBs do to show us just how insane the skills of the real QBs are, and that we really need to be teaching 12 year olds that the hardest settings on a video game aren't the standard to which they should be holding themselves. Normalize beating normal difficulty being a respectable achievement.
"Now, if someone was to say that the release animations don't really matter that much, I'm not gonna argue against it." I am, that's a ridiculous thing to say. Scouts look for quick releases for a reason and even ignoring any other benefits, you avoid sacks. It's not a gamechanger by itself but it's still a clear advantage
The thing I always remember about playing against Peyton was that he was constantly, every play, calling audibles. That is what always threw me off when facing him.
Supposedly in 1994 Garry Plummer would make a run/pass call just before the offense snapped the ball, and he got to the point he was so good predicting offenses that the defense just started assuming he was right about 1/3 of the way through the season. That defense was NUTS.
An investigation into Martin Brodeur and how unstoppable he was across multiple eras of NHL games would be interesting. Scoring on him was damn near impossible and made playing against the Devils one of the most frustrating experiences in any hockey game.
Hey Kofi, from 13:46 to 14:47, you state nine or so sentences, five of which start with "Now,". This is a repeat offense, the "Now," beginning. Many of these could be omitted imo. I noticed it earlier in th video, told myself to rewind and tabulate later but it kept happening. Love the content and tone of your videos!
My vote without watching first is either Madden 07 or Espn 2k5. Just absolute cpu machines. Many memorable games of losing in glendale that year in Superstar mode. Each game was GOING to the last possession. And lord forbid you dont use a safety cause dallas clark would snatch go routes like randy moss.
Fun Fact, the "See the opponents play" X factor in modern madden is called "Omaha", for Payton Manning's famous Audible, granted it only lets you see the coverage, but still worth noting
fun fact for everyone, if you played madden 08 on the Gamecube or PC then the Smart Weapon did not exist there. There were also a couple different player weapons all around that were not on those systems. The Franchise Quarterback weapon replaced smart QB as an example.
It’s like you can read my mind. I randomly thought about that a couple a days ago. Grew up with Madden 08 and 09, Manning was the only player I had trouble playing against. My 15 year old self was so proud when I finally beat him by always audibleing when he changed the plays

Always love a Kofie vid, gonna enjoy this one
KOOOOOFIIIIIEEEE! Love your personal yt and this series has the potential to be really good. JR Smith in NBA2K should be investigated next.
Why does Kofie not say Marvin Harrison's name?
Great video I really enjoyed watching.
"Now, if someone was to say that the release animations don't really matter that much, I'm not gonna argue against it."
I am, that's a ridiculous thing to say. Scouts look for quick releases for a reason and even ignoring any other benefits, you avoid sacks. It's not a gamechanger by itself but it's still a clear advantage
Great stuff as always! I once wrote an article about the most broken athletes in video game history, and Peyton Manning is definitely up there.
didn't even realize until you said it... he really was never on a madden cover. who knows maybe a GOAT edition cover in the future
Glad to see Kofie out of the Fumble Dimension.
Madden fell off a cliff when they switched to next gen consoles…..
The thing I always remember about playing against Peyton was that he was constantly, every play, calling audibles. That is what always threw me off when facing him.
Marvin Harrison is innocent.

This is a great video👍 glad there will be more similar to it
I appreciate your video bro well put together 💯
My vote without watching first is either Madden 07 or Espn 2k5. Just absolute cpu machines. Many memorable games of losing in glendale that year in Superstar mode. Each game was GOING to the last possession. And lord forbid you dont use a safety cause dallas clark would snatch go routes like randy moss.
Every Madden game, I did a fantasy draft in franchise mode.... Every year, Peyton was inevitably the QB of the opposing team in the Super Bowl.
Great video Kofie!
I don't even like sports, much less sports video games, but this is really interestingly put together. Well done!
Why are we censoring Marvin Harrison?
because he's a murderer.
Cause he murdered some peeps
@johnsolo534 i never said anything about ray lewis, only u did.
@@the.revmirabut he censored Marvin Harrison and not Ray Lewis from earlier in the video….
@@Yourlazybutt so his name disappeared?
KOFIE BACK!
The camera changes are unhinged. You're doing God's work.
glimpsing the madden 11 ui even for a second hit me with a nostalgia bullet straight to the brain that sent me all the way back to my childhood
Watching you run around with Vick like that in the backfield took me right back to middleschool
I like this series!!! You cooking!!! Let’s keep it going!!
Is there a reason that we're not saying Marvin Harrison's name? Can someone explain this?
Fun Fact, the "See the opponents play" X factor in modern madden is called "Omaha", for Payton Manning's famous Audible, granted it only lets you see the coverage, but still worth noting
fun fact for everyone, if you played madden 08 on the Gamecube or PC then the Smart Weapon did not exist there. There were also a couple different player weapons all around that were not on those systems. The Franchise Quarterback weapon replaced smart QB as an example.
Go back and rewatch and take a shot of tequila every time Kofi says Peyton Manning. Blackout drunk you'll be...hahaha!
Why is Marvin Harrison called #88 in this video 😂
It’s like you can read my mind. I randomly thought about that a couple a days ago. Grew up with Madden 08 and 09, Manning was the only player I had trouble playing against. My 15 year old self was so proud when I finally beat him by always audibleing when he changed the plays
Ah, one of my favorite Maddens (08) referenced a lot in this one. I remember seeing the QB vision as Manning for the first time and it truly was a "whoa" moment about his skill
