Women are rarely visible in medical field other than child bearing years. Women past 35 or 40 become entirely invisible. 😢 Across civilizations, cultures, religions n continents, it's the same. I don't see it changing any time in the future.
I'm going through peri and have noticed that I'm feeling more annoyed, more easily. I'm also having cramps with my period where I didn't used to have them at all. And then there's the enhanced feelings of sadness. Can't wait for this to be over, but I know I have a long time.
I am 51 and had my menopause at 48. The last 2-3 years my period was horrendous. It could last for weeks and I had multiple flooding spells. I had to miss work many times because of this. The silver lining is that since my menopause I feel great and I don’t have any symptoms or discomfort anymore and I am so grateful for that !
Everyone talks about the hot flashes but what about the cold flashes!! Cold feet and arms then feeling like they are on fire. It feels like being on a roller coaster going through this.
Great information. I'm 48 yrs old and most annoying symptoms are the heavy irregular periods and stiffness. It wasn't only the shoulder but whole body stiffness.
Frozen shoulder (liver), gut issues (healthy stomach bacteria), all connected to digestion and our foods and diet. The Chinese acupuncturist literally fixes my symptoms in two visits with a week of herbs and the symptoms don’t come back for years sometimes. Makes you question our entire health system.
Thank you so much for this video! The constant bloating and changes in my digestion (constipation) were my first symptoms, and those started when I was 43. A few months ago, I connected the dots and realized I am in Perimenopause. Got on HRT a month ago, and the relief of most symptoms is unbelievable!!
Big yes for me. The ear problems extended down to my eustachian tube and I developed patulous Eustachian tube. Hideous condition, you do not want this! It iconsidered incurable, but after 2 weeks is sea buckthorn oil capsules, my hearing returned and amazing improvement of some other perimenopausal symptoms like dry vagina.
43 y/o Suuuper itchy ears. It gets dry ears when you keep on using cotton buds and it makes it worse. Steroid creams help but you can only use it for 3 days and then be careful to scratch or touch it again.
Thank you for this video. I am 44 and are having a few symptoms. The cravings and headaches and ringing in the ears. I feel like am going crazy. My doctor says its perimenopause i thought i was too young. It’s quite new to me so your video was very encouraging.
I understand not going crazy it’s anxiety telling you I started getting anxiety dizziness headaches 19 months now Dr put me on Hormonal Tablets see if works Do you get constant Headaches?
I had never heard that frozen shoulder is possible. That explains my episode last year...lasted for several months. I could barely raise my arm. My cousin experienced that as well. Great video
Thank you for sharing this information. My doctor just laughs and tells me that it's only going to get worse and there's nothing I can do about it. She must be going through it too😂
Thanks for the useful information that no one has discussed! I am 39 & have heavy periods and seem to have issues with dairy now when I never did in the past. Also annoying little hairs pop up on my face.
yes, sometimes, I just turned 39 in October and on my birthday all these hit me like a huge wave, I'm now seeing my Naturopathic/ Holistic Doctor . She has started me on a supplement called Femrebalance by Vitanica. I've been struggling with lightheadedness, dizziness sometimes, fatigue hot and cold flashes, anxiety, insomnia at times and the fluctuating in my appetite. My periods have started to change a little and for the first time ever I didn't have a period for one month , but before the missed month I had 3 periods in the previous month each being 5 days long. That was the big indicator right there for me. I've been taking Femrebalance for about a month now, It seems to start helping now, I'm trying to stay out of my head , causing myself more stress while now going through this new journey in life , makes me feel like a prisoner sometimes lol, I know I'll get through this though with God's help , all of us women will , it just sucks 😂😂, but that's life 😊
Omg! 1.29 minute in and you mentioned Hashimoto, that is what I developed 2 years ago and since then on this journey on how to live with it and manage it, thankfully my thyroid wasn't attacked and I only toom thyroid pulls for 1 year while helping my body to heal the gut and fatigue and so on. I just recently had a bigger change in my period and I started thinking about perimenopause as a possibility and your videos helped to put some pieces together. The shoulder, thr chin hair! I don't think I am ready for this 🙄
@gforero2831 this is crazy. Who could have thought??? All leads to the microbiome, something I was aware of sinev being kid(I am born and raised in another country), but yet here they only touching the surface of the disbiosis and other disbalances. I am glad though they started. With Hashimoto and my thyroid being fine, hysterically a nodule that is consistent and benign. Even the doctor who did the biopsy said that my thryisud looks like a healthy thyroid overall, no sign of Hashimoto. And the tech 2 years in the row of performing scan confirmed that too. With my numbers never being out back it just explains that it could have been a sign of something else.
I have fibromyalgia and its so much worse now. I’ll be 53 this month and some days are downright depressing. I take an anti-depressant and see a counselor. Its helped so much. Curious does pelvic bone pain get worse?
I am 47 and experiencing bloating, stomach pain, diarrhoea, nausea and dizziness. Seeing my GP this week. Hopefully they can recommend something as it is really debilitating and miserable 😢
I feel the same way. I’m so sorry you are going through that. I am in full menopause and everybody thinks I’m crazy. 😜 It’s an occurrence that only women go through so it’s not widely discussed. You are not crazy. You are normal. You are just having fluctuations in your hormones. I go to see my doctor Thursday to get the pellets. I’m scared but I’m gonna do it because I can’t live like this anymore 😢
@The-elite-one ah thank you for your message and I am sorry you are going through the same thing. Good luck for Tbursday. I am seeing my GP Thursday too. I didn't realise going through this would be so scary, it's horrible. Sending you much love ❤
Frozen feckin shoulder... Im being destroyed with it for the last 7 mths. Its in my left shoulder and radiates down to my elbow.... the amount of times I've thought its a heart problem...smh
@@russellmania4542 I am booking myself in for the targeted injection this week.... I know I'm going to be in agony after it, (kinda the reason I keep putting it off, hoping it would miraculously fix itself🙄). But it will help me to lift my arm above the level of my boobs... I miss being able to wash my goddamn hair!!)
I definitely feel numb and dry down there, where I do not look forward to intimacy. It started in my 30s though. I have been taking Slippery Elm Bark an hour before intimacy which helps. If anyone has any more advice, let me know please.
Yes, I lost 15 pounds without trying three years ago at age 42. Dr. didn’t find anything wrong. I did quit eating onions/garlic at that time because it caused digestive issues. Maybe the weight was inflammation?
I am 45 now and in full menopouse mode.. was perimenopouse from 30 so I have had my share of night sweets from 30 and now I am getting pain😢 in my whole body..my period pain started 2 weeks ago and still in pain.
I have sore breasts right now! Usually the swelling n sensitivity goes after period arrives but not this time. I’m definitely transitioning to meno as my cycles are becoming erratic. Best way to treat naturally?? 🙏
This was the reason I went to the Drs office. Evening primrose oil was the natural option she gave me. I've been on them two months but got relief from the breast pain within the first two weeks.
I have experiencing a discomfort bladder.. is it possible that im in feeling of hormonal imbalance..i am suffering this a couple of weeks ago.. on and off.. i take a lot of medicine .. but still coming back... please help me .. what medicine do i have to take? Thank you so much.. god bless.
Very informative video thank you I am almost 35 and I dont have children yet, realistically, when is the best time to start wrapping up(for a lack of words) having children
Why do we talk about hormones changing for teenagers and not hormones going crazy when we reach perimenaupause!?

@ Sounds good did you used to have headaches?
@Rhianna2023 Not too bad, but yes!
For me it's migraines! Always around my cycle.
Itchy ears anyone??
Out of these symptoms I only have facial hair and bloating
Super itchy ears! Q-tips are always on hand...
I have itchy ears. I had no idea it was a sign.
Yes itchy ears here

I have similar issues with the ringing in my ears

Omg same!! I’m 41, heavy clotty periods, can’t eat cheese or drink milk without feeling riddled with anxiety after and stomach issues.
@Jude1310 Ah the joys of aging 😄
I m 47 n right going thru almost all the symptoms u shared.. It's such hell of a ride... :(
Hey thanks I am going through most of these .So thank God it's normal now my anxiety has subsided...
Frozen shoulder didn't know about that , now I understand why not even exercising helps. Thank you doctor
Does anyone have breast changes??? Feeling heavy and sore? Im terrified.
I do. Even without a period, they are sore.
Yes!!

I went up a size. My last mammogram puzzled the radiologist. They have me doing them every 6 months now

7 months on my right then 3 months on my right shoulder. Omg, this frozen shoulder is real and painful. And I've been healthy all my life. 51F here.
Had IBS since late Teens and diagnosed with Underactive thyroid age 23, calf muscle spasms then popped mid sprint across the road
Does premonopause cause severe pelvic pain causing burning sensation, tenderness heaviness and pressures. Also can menopause csuse virginal bulge from
Severe pelvic pain yes!
The heaviness, pressure and bulge could be a prolapse of the bladder, uterus or rectum.
I've been experiencing severe pelvic pain 😢

How about numb hands?
Yes! I’ve heard this can be from estrogen dropping I believe. I experience this in the morning sometimes.
I like that you practice integrated medicine
I do believe wellness & diet and supplements & lifestyle helps especially with this time of life
Great information 👍
Thank you for this video! I’ve shared it with my friends.
Thank you❣️
Frozen feckin shoulder...
Im being destroyed with it for the last 7 mths. Its in my left shoulder and radiates down to my elbow.... the amount of times I've thought its a heart problem...smh
Put that along with the palpitation feeling...terrifying
Same, I have had tennis elbow for the last 2 months. I cannot pick up anything with weight to it with that hand cause elbow feels broken.

Its ridiculous the amount of crap we have to endure... like can we catch a goddamn break here!?
I HAVE SOME OF THESE SYMPTOMS AND IM ONLY 38..
I have a lot of these, and I'm 34. I have an obgyn appointment soon.
I am 38 and started perimenopause this year. Genetically the women in my family go through menopause by the time we are 45-49.
I started in my early 30s as well😢
I was mid 30s as well, now 39. Pesky facial hairs, heavy periods, lack of periods. Good luck ladies
Ditto, my Gp is ignoring my concerns as I’ve been having symptoms since the age of 36 I’m now 38
i did talk to a provider and its of no use
I definitely feel numb and dry down there, where I do not look forward to intimacy. It started in my 30s though. I have been taking Slippery Elm Bark an hour before intimacy which helps. If anyone has any more advice, let me know please.
I have found lately that my periods have become lighter, but last much longer. I have no abdominal pain. Is that a normal symptom?
Anyone else losing weight?
Yes, I lost 15 pounds without trying three years ago at age 42. Dr. didn’t find anything wrong. I did quit eating onions/garlic at that time because it caused digestive issues. Maybe the weight was inflammation?

I am unclear, is perimenopause cause lack of estrogen or increase?
Thank you
Did anyone find that fasting helps with these symptoms?
Estrogen dominance is the worst. I hate it!!!
I know it is tmi. But can you have anal discomfort issues?
Same here
@mareninina9412 you have anal issues too
Me too! It's good we can talk about it 😅
Sounds like part of the IBS issue. I take peppermint pills for the intestinal spasms.

This was the reason I went to the Drs office. Evening primrose oil was the natural option she gave me. I've been on them two months but got relief from the breast pain within the first two weeks.

Vitex or DIM helps
I have experiencing a discomfort bladder.. is it possible that im in feeling of hormonal imbalance..i am suffering this a couple of weeks ago.. on and off.. i take a lot of medicine .. but still coming back... please help me .. what medicine do i have to take? Thank you so much.. god bless.
I stopped drinking anything but water or warm water, it has helped.
Bladder pain in general ??
Same for me!
I literally have shoulder and breast pain all of a sudden. I’m 48
Very informative video thank you
