    I loved Sam Waterston since I saw him in Oppenheimer. I loved Aaron Sorkin since the 1st episode of The West Wing.

    Sam Waterston was perfect on this show.
    But you know if John Spencer was still alive it probably would have been him playing Charlie.

    What The Newsroom said about media is the same thing Will McAvoy said about America: It's not the greatest, but it can be!

    Brilliant through and through. Smart writing, dialougue and acting . Sam, Jeff and Emily standout, but they all deserve nods. In retrospect, this was done before America realized Piers Morgan was a horrid fake, a joke - cebrity barnacle.

    The fact that Piers Morgan is interviewing this panel tells you everything you need to know about The Newsroom.

    • @robertm346
      @robertm346 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      siddharth nagar I think The Newsroom actually ended because it was stuck in Sorkin’s ass from romantic start to disillusioned finish. Add multiple unqualified actors to that mix, and you have an intolerable outcome understood by many but hated by most.

    The cast ruined this show. Sorkin's brilliance requires quality players, and Jeff Daniels can't reasonably be expected to carry every pound like he was in this show.

    There is little difference to the fictional show "The Newsroom" and "Fox". Reality never show up.
