  • For stage 2 of our Tour Académique 2024, Prof. Nassim Kamar discusses novel approaches in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of hepatitis E - with a particular focus upon nephrological patients.
    Nassim Kamar (MD, PhD) is Professor of Nephrology. He is head of the Department of Nephrology and Organ Transplantation of Toulouse University Hospital in France. His particular interests are viral infection, particularly hepatitis E virus, hepatitis C virus, and cytomegalovirus infections that develop after solid organ transplantation, as well as immunosuppressive therapy in heart, liver, kidney, and kidney-pancreas transplant patients.
