So, so saddened that Taylor passed unexpectedly. What a beautiful person he was; sensitive, creative, goofy, multi-talented, generous, down to earth. Look at him here, probably having a really great time sharing his knowledge and encouraging these lucky youngsters.
I agree. It’s what makes me so angry about people like Ted Nugent and the trolls condemning him. Even ministers because he was a rocker. He was a good man. Plain and simple.
He is so amazingly patient and validating with the kids. He learns their names, he individually highlights their solos and spends time telling them what they did that was positive and interesting. He was a great teacher. I cannot begin to imagine the loss his wife and kids are going. ❤️
So many of us knew Taylor was a phenomenal musician, yet so few of us knew he was such an extraordinary human being. We will forever love and miss you, Taylor! 💔😭🕊
Infinite patience. The man is very good with kids. I do not know how a band as big (and as talented) as Foo Fighters be filled with such seemingly good people. You can't fake that kind of "decent." A bright spot in an increasingly negative, violent, selfish, and angry world.
I am a retired elementary teacher, and I have to say he is a natural with kids. Ignore the kid that is trying to hog the attention, tune out the disrupters, model the attention to each child to show respect. Excellent.
@@justjade2791 The kid in blue on the left, who's also the most natural drummer in the group: good sense of rhythm, can't keep still, wants constant attention. Those are the three main attributes of most drummers I know!
I know both he and Dave have kids of their own, but the patience for your own doesn't always travel to others. These guys are fantastic. So encouraging, giving each one of those kids a chance (gently reminding the other of "turns"). Explaining different terms and styles. Good on them...just one more reason to love the Foos....stand up guys...all of them, for sure.

R.I.P. TAYLOR H. A friend to the entire world, is how he carried his self. And, on the flip-side.. he considered the entire world to be HIS friend. As a big fan of their music & vids, everything about the Foo Fighters will carry on, because i listen with my heart, to the endless collection of music, meant for everyone, everywhere to enjoy and love, like a brand new gift to unwrap every time their songs are played. Their awesome music & vids, interviews, plus, their look on life, is a go-to for me that's pretty comfortable, and it's only gotten better with age. Truth
Far left kid? He’s a natural. Maybe he needs a little bit of work on not showboating, but he definitely was a standout. He’s confident. Not at all nervous. I hope he kept on drumming too.
Would have been absolutely epic to have him as a teacher for drums he makes it to where the kids are having fun and not boring. I’m a drummer and definitely would have loved to be taught by him he shows soo much compassion and patience. Him Danny Carey and Stewart Copeland are my 3 top drummers who inspire me.
Nossa!!! Que carinho e amor ele tinha pelas crianças. Saudades de voce para sempre Taylor. Coração humilde esse cara tinha. Vai deixar muitas saudades.😥
And of course, what else would he start them off with, other than some Queen...he was a huge Queen fan and a great friend of Roger Taylor and his son Rufus.

Love the foo fighters and Taylor's drumming but that's not the definition of a cadence. (2:12 ). It's more like an ostinato. Still admire him for doing something like this though.

I love the fact that Taylor's clearly more comfortable with children than with interviewers
I think it is probably because kids aren't looking for the scoop and do not judge. But the reporters and interviewers do.
@@Fire_Marshall_Bill as someone who works with kids at this age, they judge A LOT and are very vocal about it.
@@rodriguezelfeliz4623 it's why they say if you want an honnest opinion ask a child
Well they're a lot more mature than a lot of interviewers.
the fact that hes probably high as a kite hanging around 10 year olds is a little disturbing
Taylor Hawkins was a gift from God .. RIP dear friend. 🥁🇦🇺
Did god give him the gift of depression and sadness so that he became a drug addict and died too? Can't have it both ways. No gods exist.

Most people are decent, and sucessfull people are people so...
So true. They are an inspiration for all of us. Miss Taylor so.
Best sentence ever: You can't fake that kind of decent! That's how I will always picture him

I always thought he seemed genuine, this video is a good example of this man’s heart. God rest his soul.
This happens every day in schools, just not rich rock stars doing it. It's not special, it's just reality.

I agree with your opinion.
@@morbidmanmusic ofc, but it’s still special, that „rich rockstars“ take time to do that, since I guess they have a full time schedule
