I've been binge watching everything I can find on Taylor since he passed. I adored him and it just gutted me that he went so soon. I think I should stop binge watching though because I'm just finding out more than I even knew about what a sweet soul he was. I'm going to go cry now 😢

RIP Taylor Hawkins. I never met him but was lucky enough to see the Foo Fighters at V Festival in 2001. I loved his and Dave’s friendship and I always thought of him affectionately as ‘Animal’ because of his passionate playing. Heartbroken for his wife, family, Dave, all the Foos and all Taylor’s loved ones. Thanks for this video of him. Missing him massively already, as I’m sure many other fans are.

Agreed . We have to continue to support arts education in our schools. We just lost elementary level music instruments in our district . Many children will not choose music instrumentation as an elective in secondary school , and will not be presented with an option to know if they like it , and/ or need it to cope with stress , and/ or find a life time hobby . I am blessed to be able to teach my children , but not every family can afford that option time wise or monetarily . This is why it’s incumbent upon public school to keep the music in the budget .By Taylor showing up it shows a tangible outcome , and likely will inspire a few paradiddles at the very least .
