Hendrik, four years ago your video was the first one that showed me where the fiber washer went. I wanted to let you know I appreciated that, and that it was helpful. Thank you for having made this video.
Thank you very much for showing this! I was wondering how full assembly worked and I'm glad I found your channel. My Nova 2 chuck has a small red dot in it, though. What the hell is that and where does it go?
Also, I sincerely appreciate that you were keeping an eye on a video that's over a year old, and responded to my question with an offer to help. That was very classy of you. Please continue to post other videos and share and help the community.
Hendrik, thank you for your response, as well as your offer to look at the pieces. I have emailed it, though I think that I have the answer. I believe they're called washer fibers, and I think they go underneath the grub screw to prevent damage to the lathe mount. The instructions are badly written so this was confusing, but I believe I managed to figure it out after a good night's sleep.
Help would be appreciated: I am new to turning and the 4 things that the jaws attach to on my chuck are out of line. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

@@HendrikvanTaak fast reply too! You're still responsive.
I hope you make more videos.
Good chucks. I just wish they would open wider.
Does dry lithium spray work the same?
Nice job describing the process, however the camera is not positioned right all the time. you could use graphite instead of baby powder
Hi, thanks for your comment. I live in the country, so graphite is hard to get and discovered that baby powder is a great substitute...

why baby powder? why not dry graphite?
If you're in the country far from shops then baby powder do the trick. Even engineers use it. Thanks for the comment. Take care
