Took apart my One Way, and did something wrong, this Will help when i Fuss with it again!! Somehow i am balanced, but off. No explanation, just my journey. Thank you for sharing, not too fast, not too slow. Looking forward!!
Thanks for this video; it's often a mystery how chucks are disassembled. I've had good luck using silicone as a lubricant on parts that are directly effected by sawdust. Since nothing sticks to silicone it makes cleaning much easier.
Thank you I have 3 nova chucks that need their first cleaning. Also you once should my wife and I the Sorby Pro Edge at Rockler in Orlando. Now that I have 100’s of bowls under my belt, that was a good purchase, would recommend also. Thanks Kevin
You made this maintenance project look easy. Thanks
That's helps maintenance easy. Like to do a sticker swap with you to put on my board in my work shop.👍
Thanks ! Great tips.
Honestly, I think you should give your TH-cam channel another try. I think you would be very good at giving home demonstrations for a fee. Good luck
Thank you. I have not given up on TH-cam, my family and I have relocated and the move has made making videos very difficult over the past year. I will be back soon.
Great video! You need affiliate link to grease you use!
Thanks for demystifying the disassembly of the Nova chucks. Can you tell if the gears are a little smoother running with the new grease?
Yup, the gearing turns very smoothly now. It is probably time that I perform maintenance on the remaining chucks.
Just curious ... why remove the Infinity slides and replace with standard SN2 slides?
#1 I only have one set of infinity jaws and it is an odd size that I rarely use. #2 I was not thrilled with the way the system worked.
